Kennedy King:
-A week later-
"Kennedyyyyy," Justin whines like a small child and I huff, keeping my eyes on my laptop as I continue to type.
"Kennnnnnneddddddyyyyyy," Justin sings softly, wrapping his arms around me which I shrug off.
"Stop it," I mumble, tapping away. He's been bugging me for the past hour and just won't stop. I really have to work on my paper and then start studying.
"Kennedy, let's do something." Justin suggests, picking at a lock of my hair with his fingers. He twirls it between his fingers and I grab it out from his grasp, patting my hair down. "Stop," I'm slowly starting to loose my patience with him, i'm surprised I haven't completely exploded yet.
Justin huffs, slouching back into his seat and I sigh, continuing to type. "Do you not want to hang out or something? Did I do something wrong?" Justin asks in a low, cold voice.
This finally gets me.
"Do you not see that i'm trying to study?!" I yell, twirling in my seat to face him completely.
Justin looks taken back. "I have to study if I want to pass my courses. That means finishing this paper and then moving on to the texts books and all the things I have to memorize for Monday! I didn't ask you to come here and waste my Friday night or your Friday night by asking if I want to hang out, Justin." I fume angrily.
A look of anger flashes on Justin's face. "I'm sorry if I just want to spend some quality time with my girlfriend." He harshly snarls, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I didn't ask to spend time tonight! I told you I was busy tonight. I let you stay because you said you would figure out something to do until I finished,
"Plus," I went on, "When you're working, I don't bother you when you're trying to make music. Why can't you understand that my studies are important?"
"Maybe because they aren't!" Justin yells and I gasp loudly. It felt like a slap to the face, "And i'm sorry that i'm such a bother to you all the time." He mocks, dropping his arms to his side.
I didn't mean that he was a bother all the time. Just at that moment. You don't understand how hard it is to write an essay when your boyfriend keeps trying to get your attention.
"You know what?" I grumble, tugging harshly at my hair. "Just leave!" I yell, pointing to the door.
Justin gasps loudly as if he couldn't believe what I just said and honestly, neither could I, but I couldn't stop myself now.
"Just leave. Go have fun, do something wild or pout at the bar because your girlfriend can't hang out with you tonight because she needs to study to ensure she has a freaking future. I honestly don't care!" I shout, tugging even harder on my hair again. I feel like if I pull any harder it might come out.
"You know what?" Justin shouts, "Fine! I'll leave! I didn't even want to spend time with you anyway, I just wanted to get laid tonight!" Justin yells and at the moment I felt my heart shatter.
I watch in horror as he stomps out the living room and towards the door, not even bothering to properly put his shoes on as he steps out and slams the door shut behind him.
I drop to the couch and place my head in my hands. I can't believe he actually said he only wanted to hang out so he could get some tonight.
So yeah, Justin and I hadn't done anything for a little bit, but we've done a few stuff ever since we first slept together. I guess sometimes I forget that guys get a little needy when it comes to this stuff, as do girls as well I assume, but it never came to mind that Justin did want to do that again.
