Kennedy King:

When Justin's done something he probably shouldn't have or hears bad news, he usually either ignores the world or avoids whoever he has to.

And in the this case, he's doing the latter.

I sigh, pressing the 'end' button on my phone, throwing it onto my bed. Justin's been avoiding me ever since we went to that night club. My mind was buzzing with different ideas of what could have happened.

"Hey, you okay?" Austin asks. I turn away from my bed and place my phone on the night stand next to it. I rub my temples, "I'm fine," I send him a pursed smile.

Austin slowly nods as if he doesn't believe me, but doesn't question me any further which I'm grateful for. Maybe Justin's just busy or his phone broke, I don't know. It seems like I'm just trying to find any excuse to replace the fact that he might just be avoiding me.

I decide not to tell anyone yet. I need to deal with whatever this is on my own and talk to Justin when I see him again.

Austin and I leave my room and go to the kitchen where Cody was siting with his laptop out and Alex leaning in to look at the screen. Lee, Ashley Tisdale, and Chris were somewhere around here too and I felt my tiny apartment slowly start to cramp up from all these people.

Cody and Alexandra look up from the screen when they hear us enter. I open the fridge to grab the orange juice cartoon. "You okay?" Cody is the first to ask from the two. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"You just seem... a little off." Alexandra slowly spoke as if she was trying to choose the right words. I wave them both off, "I'm fine. I just had to check up on something. We can continue our work, Grace should be here soon." I pour some orange juice into a cup, holding up the carton to offer once I was done.

Everyone shakes their head and Austin announces that he's making coffee.

Cody nods and goes back to typing on his laptop and I take next to him at the table to write my paper. "Hey," Chris enters the living room as he announces his presences. From the corner of my eye I see Alexandra and Austin move over to the living room to where Chris was.

For the next hour, Cody and I work hard on our assignments until Grace arrives. She says hello to everyone and takes a seat next to me at the table and we all work together in silence. Soon Alex declares that she needs to go since she's meeting up with Logan, her boyfriend, and bids all of us a goodbye, saying she will call me tomorrow.

I hug her before she leaves and then I go back to doing my work.

Little by little, everyone starts to leave until it's just Cody, Austin and I. With a sigh, I watch as Cody saves his work and closes his laptop. "Done," He breaths out, looking at the time on his phone. "And it's only eight o'clock. Sweet." It felt so much longer than just six or seven hours of working. I felt extremely tired, but I was glad we got this damn paper over with.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow, right?" Cody asks as he cleans up his things, slipping his laptop back into his bag. "Yep. Are we still getting coffee?" I ask. He nods, pushing back his dark hair from his eyes to reveal his blue eyes.

"I'll walk myself out," He tells me, laying a hand on my shoulder before I can stand up. I watch as he shakes hands with Austin when they say their goodbyes and then he's out the door.

I finally stand up in what feels like forever and stretch my arms out. "You still sleeping over?" I ask Austin who shrugs. "If it's okay with you."

"It's more than okay."

Austin smiles.

I know someone's creeping up on me, but it's too late for me to click another tab when Lee and Alexandra grab the laptop from me, "Hey!" I shout, standing up immediately, but it's too late. They already saw the article I was reading.

"I knew this had something to do with him!" Lee shouts back and I slump back onto the couch.

"Kennedy, what happened?"

I shrug, "I honestly don't know. Justin's been avoiding my calls and only responding to a few of my messages, but all these articles are saying he's out with friends or on a yacht or something, I don't know!" I sigh, tugging on my hair. This was ridiculous. I was stalking my boyfriend through articles because he just wouldn't tell me what's wrong and why he's avoiding me.

"Why don't you just go this house? Confront him about it?" Lee asks, setting my laptop down. I stare at my hands that were nestled in my lap. I've honestly been a little nervous about seeing him. What if he did something really bad?

Today was a little stressful. After meeting with Cody for coffee, we went straight to class. I was assigned a lot of work and so little time to do so. I also went and applied for a job at an Indigo store near by.

I sigh. My friends are right. I should have just gone and talked to him in person. Later that night, I finally find some courage and drive over to Justin's house.

We need to talk, he can't just keep avoiding me for something that happened that I have no idea about what.

When i'm standing outside his door, I knock and patiently wait. A few minutes later, the door swings open and I see Justin, a surprised and guilty look on his face.

I keep a blank look on my face. "We need to talk."

He sighs, nodding his head with a slump. "We need to talk." He agrees, letting me to into his house.
