Two months later...

"Ev! can you please go and get me some chocolate!!" my bestfriend/roommate Colleen screamed at me from my bedroom as i scrolled through intagram on the couch.  i chuckled to myself then screamed back. "fine jesus chill col." i groaned then got up and got a sweatshirt and my shoes on. "ill be back dont miss me!" "shut up and hurry! the cramps are getting worse!" she yelled at me. i laughed my ass off then got down to the parking lot where my car was sitting patiently.

i got in then turned on some Halsey and jammed out. once i areived at cub i lazily walked inside and walked around the fluorescent super market. finally after a while of strolling through cub, i finally found a variety of chocolate. then someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"hey, evelyn was it?" this tall, scruffy, dark brown, short bearded guy said to me as if he knew me. i was extremely confused. "um thats me but do i know you?" i chuckled awkwardly. "oh im Colin from the bar in chicago? it was kinda a long time ago like maybe a month or so ago? we talked that whole night until you got super hammered!" he laughed but then stopped as he saw my facial expression. "im sorry but i dont remember anything from that night." i laughed. "it was kinda an eventful night." i coughed awkwardly. why god, why am i awkward?

"oh yeah you were talking about you're boyfriend lucas or something? luke?"

hearing his name made me cringe. "uhm yeah. actually, i do remember you! you bought me like 5 drinks." i laughed. he laughed along. "yeah you were having a rough night huh?" i nodded then smiled at him. he was actually not horrible looking. he was kinda hot even.

"so id really like to hang out with you sometime." he finally said. "i thought you'd never ask." we laughed then i put my number in his phone. "text me later." i said and winked as he said bye. i smiled to myself. i couldnt stop smiling actually.

once i got to my car, my phone went off. i screamed from excitement then looked at it. then i screamed of anger because it was from col.

i laughed then put my phone down and didnt bother to respond. once i pulled out of the parking lot, i got another text. i screamed once again once i saw that it was actually from Colin now.

i couldnt stop smiling until he replied back. which surprisingly he didnt until i got home and gave Colleen her chocolates. "this is why you need a boyfriend." i chuckled as i threw the bag of chocolate at her. "um fyi, i do hes just in a differnt state and in college." she mumbled as she pryed open a candy wrapper. i rolled my eyes then left her room to enter my own.

my phone went off then almost immediately i got it out of my pocket to see who it was. my eyes deepend with color.

it was calum.
