i hesitantly picked up my phone and stared at the notification. i put my phone down then i left the room with my phone on my bed. i didnt want to even look at it anymore. why would he text me though? maybe i left something on the bus. or to tell me about the tour. i stoped then sighed. i have to look at it sometime. so i walked back into my room and took a seat on my bed, along with a deep breath.

To: You

hey ev. its calum. of course you know that already. well i just wanted to text you and ask you how you were? we've been thinking about you. believe it or not we miss you. luke especially. i get it if you dont text back. just so you know, we're always here. whatever you need.

as i read the text in awe, my stomach got rock solid. this had to be a dream. maybe a joke? why would luke miss me? i basically cheated on him. i decided not to text back. not until i figured out what to say. then i got a knock on the door.

"ev, someone's at the door for you. hes super hot just fyi." Colleen said then laughed and turned to leave. but stoped when she saw my opened jaw. "whats wrong?" she asked as she steped back into the room. "calum, he uh.. texted me." i sniffled. "oh.." colleen said then looked down. after a bit of silence, i remembered someone was at the door. i awkwardly got up then answered the door.

"hey, um i know this is weird." colin said as i opened the door. i laughed then looked at him. "dont ask how i know where you live." he chuckled as i let him in. "as long as you're here.. for no reason." i laughed. "i have a reason." he pressed on. "mhm?" i looked at him into his hazel-y green eyes that were breathtaking by the way. "to see you once again." he quietly spoke. i blushed then looked down.

"well since you're here, wanna watch a movie?" i asked. "sure! i love movies." he said as he followed me into the living room. we were trying to find a movie when colleen came into the living room. "ev, im gonna go to evans. leave you two alone for a night." she winked then smirked. me and colin looked at eachother ans i rolled my eyes.

evan was our other really good friend that was there for us whenever we were in bad moods or just having a shitty day. she loved us and we loved her to death. it was a win win situation. once crampy left, me and colin got some popcorn and coffee, decaf of course, then snuggled up on the couch with a blanket. it was too awkward to actually be cuddling with him so i didnt. not unless he made a move first. thats what Coll always told me. Dont make a risky move unless he does it first. then its okay to play along.

once the movie ended, and i was literally about to pass out, colin shut the movie off then came back to the couch. "you tired?" he chuckled as he looked at me. "a little." i mumbled as i snuggled into a pillow.

"does this count as our first date?" colin asked after a fee moments. i opened my eyes and shifted my body so i was looking at him. i smiled then nodded. "what do you think of it." i asked quietly. "well it couldve ended better but the plot was good."

"not the movie smart ass." we laughed. "this date." he thought about it for a second. "its probably the best date ive had in a while." he whispered as he put an arm around me then pulled me closer to him. "good." i giggled. "me too." i whispered as we stared at eachother intemently in the eyes.

"would it be totally weird to kiss you." he asked im a whispered tone as he looked at my lips then back to my eyes. i shook my head then leaned into his lips. once they connected, my mouth felt like it was on fire. then he pulled away after a few seconds and looked at me sleepily. "youmre an amazing kisser." he stated randomly which made me blush, still.

"you too." i smirked then kissed him softly again.. until my phone went off. we pulled apart then i shut my eyes and sighed. i sat up and found my phone to take a look at who was calling me, thinking it was colleen or evan. but i was wrong once again. it was calum. i declined it without thinking then set it down on the counter along wit a sigh escaping my lips. "where were we?" i asked as i snuggled back into colins arms. he kissed my head then sat there in silence.

"what did he want?" colin asked in a serious tone. i sighed then looked up at him then back at my hands. "he texted me eariler, before you came, and told me luke missed me. and so did the band. which i think is complete bullshit." i rubbed my eyes and got up to put the coffee cups away along with the greasy bowl of popcorn seeds.

"do you miss him?" colin asked as he still sat in the living room. "no. im done with them. i have been done with them for a month now. they shouldnt come back and confuse my life again." i said as i put the dirty dishes away into the dishwasher. suddenly i felt colins hands wrap around my waist and his lips connect with my neck. "if he said they miss you maybe they really do. it might be good to talk to them and talk things through.." he quietly suggested. i breathed then pulled away from him.

"no colin. thats a bad idea. i dont care if they miss me. i miss alot of people but that doesnt mean im going to text them and tell them that." i looked as colin then i pulled myself up onto the countertop. "you dont have to. just think about it for a day or two. all im saying is that it might be nice to see them again i dont know." i looked away.

maybe he was right. maybe i do need to just talk to them and move on with them. "ill think about it." i mumbled. colin came over to me then placed his hands around my small waist and hugged me for no reason. "i really like you evelyn." he whispered after a moment. "i really really like you." he mumbled then he pulled away to look at my face. "i do too." i smiled then he kissed me again.

"its getting late though." he mumbled after we kissed. "yeah.." I stretched then got down off of the countertop. "what are you doing tomorrow?" he asked sleepily as he got his jacket on. "i dont know. probably nothing. why?" i leaned against a wall as i watched him. "i wanna take you on a proper date." he smiled then i smiled after. "not that this wasnt a good date because it was, but i want to take you out to lunch or perhaps dinner." he suggested. "either one is good for me." i smiled as i approched him. "ill text you tomorrow then." he smirked then pecked my lips. i nodded.

"sounds grand." i smiled once more sleepily. "okay ill see you tomorrow." he spoke then i nodded again and he hugged me tightly. "bye evelyn." he said as i let him out. "hey colin?" i asked then he turned around. "call me ev." i smirked. he smiled. "goodnight ev." he said still smiling then he turned back around and walked away.

i shut the door then leaned my back up against it. still smiling like an idiot. im moving on. im growing up. im happy.
