I looked over at him. Also know as the boy of my dreams. I don't know what was wrong with me. Maybe I just needed to get him away and out of my head for a while or what. It didn't really work anyway. I still thought about him every morning when I woke, and every night when I began to drift into sleep. Maybe he was for me. Or maybe he really isn't but we're giving it a shot anyway. Maybe it won't work out in the end. What if I'm really wasting my time with this whole second chance thing?

"I love you desperately Luke." I whispered to him in the silent car ride. Luke took a second to process then he glanced at me with a soft face.

"I desperately love you more Evelyn. You have no idea hun." Luke whispered back as he quickly glanced at me then returned his eyes to the road.

My heart fluttered as i watched him watch me. I was finally happy.

We parked the car then got out. After Luke and I made up, we decided to just drive. So for an hour we just drove around and obsorbed the New York area.

Luke and i headed inside his hotel room then we were both greeted with ashton and calum hustling around the room gathering their stuff and packing it up.

"Hey guys. Whats going on?" Luke asked confused as i shut the door behind us. Calum and Ash turned their faces to meet ours.

"well we're backing up to go back on tour. John called me earlier.. Am i missing something here?" Ashton explained with a confused expression upon his raggy face.

I gently grabbed luke's hand then Luke cleared his voice.

"We're working things out." He quietly said then he squeezed my hand gently.

Calum looked up from quickly cleaning and Ashton stared at us with a numb look. Michael came out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth then became confused as well as the other two.

"We're going to work things out.." Luke repeated to Michael. His face also went numb then awkward silence filled the space between us and them.

"Well we're glad you're back Ev. Aren't we boys?" Ashton broke the silence.

"Yes of course." Michael said as he gave a crooked smile.

I looked at Calum as he nodded, forgetting about what happened, and right away his face went solem. I told myself to stop. He already screwed this up once. He's not doing it again.

Everyone went back to packing and cleaning like freaks then i quickly turned to luke.

"Wait what will happen, will i go with..?" I asked.

"I mean yeah. I deffinatly want you to. Let me call John." Luke assured as he took out his phone from his pocket.

I started to get anxious. What if this time john didnt let me go? Probably because i basically stopped the whole tour in the first place. Now i was panicking.

Luke dialled john then slipped the phone up to his ear. John picked up right away, thankfully.

"Hey john, i was told that we're gettin back on track." Luke said cheerfully.

"Yeah.. Yes very excited.."

A pause.

"Thats awesome. Im so glad. I have one quick question for you mate..."

Another pause.

"Yeah so i was wondering if maybe Evelyn could come with us again? Her and i decided to take things slow and work it out so we wanna start that by-..."

Oh no. He was cut off.. Does that mean no? Fuck fuck fuck.

"I understand.."

My heart stopped.

"Yes of course. I.. We all really want her to come. This break changed us all and we want to kinda start over."

More painful pauses.

"Thank you. Yes i'll tell her. Much love mate, okay, bye." Luke ended the call.

"You can come," he excitedly said with a smile. I smiled back then hugged him.

"But you have to be his assistant the whole time.."

"Thats okay, i can do that."

"And you get paid so i think thats a great deal." Luke exclaimed then he pulled me in for another hug. We laughed and smiled.

"Im so glad.." I sighed.

"Me too." He muttered into my hair.

"I have to pack!" I exclaimed, pulling away from the intimate hug.
