Tyler's Interview*

(Tyler walks in, while the interviewer waits patiently. Tyler takes a seat the Interview coughs and then begins)

Interviewer: "What's your name?"

Tyler: (sits up straighter and clears throat) "Um, right. Hello, my name is Tyler Collins, son of Diane and Jonathan Collins of the CollinsWorth Inc."

(Interviewer give a confused face)

Interviewer: "Okay, I understand the Collins part of the name but where did the Worth

come from? Also, who's older, you or your sister?"

Tyler: "Oh, um. Well, that's a small known fact. One that my father hasn't necessarily addressed but I think that's just because he was never truly asked directly. But um, the Worth part comes from my mother's side. Her surname was Fensworth before getting married to my father and dropping the name altogether." (Breathes in slightly) "As for the other question, Kristina is the older one."

Interviewer: "Interesting... So, are you like your sister, the 'It' person?" (Rises eyebrow)

Tyler: (blushes slightly) "Um, no ma'am. I just started high school. I'm only a freshman, after all." (laughs slightly) "She managed to gain that title quickly but I doubt - at the rate it is going - that I would manage that."

Interviewer: "Please, no ma'am." (laughs slightly) "Makes me sound old.Are you anything like with your sister?"

Tyler: (grins and laughs outright) "Sorry." (smiles*) "And no. I'm nothing like her. While she is loud, bubbly, social - I'm quiet, broody (laughs slightly) and like to keep to myself."

Interviewer: "Are you smarter than you sister?" (Leans in) "Between us?"

Tyler: "Completely between us?" (sees nod) "Right, well. I know that she comes off as slightly ditzy with how she acts but that's only a cover up." (rubs hand through hair) "She's smart. Brilliant even but I guess I would be considered smarter than her in the sense that I'm the one that likes to keep up with the current events and what not. So I'm more... business smart? I guess." (laughs)

Interviewer: "Who's taking over the company?"

Tyler: "Well, that's the question everyone wants to know. Thing is, I'm not sure if there's even a business to inherit." (sighs in frustration) "It's sort of well known now that whatever my father was doing while away on his 'business trip' has effected the company greatly. We're practically bankrupt so now I don't even know." (looks away for a moment) "If the company picks itself back up by the time we graduate, then it would most likely be me. I know my sister wants to do something other than run the company and I was raised into learning the ins and outs of it anyway."

Interviewer: "You are the son of the Collins?" (Gives a questionable look)

Tyler: "That's a given... don't you think?"

(Interview shakes his head)

Interviewer: "Right." (laughs) "Sorry, it's protocol. What do you plan on doing in your future?"

Tyler: "getting through high school first." (grins cheekily) "After that, run the business or at least bring it back up on its feet."

(Interview nods in approval)

Interviewer: "Who's worst, you or your sister?"

Tyler: "We're both sort of bad." (laughs loudly) "I mean, we are children of high class parents. There is only so much we can do to try to be different before we start acting up. Though, I would say Kristina is worst. She is the social one, after all." (grins smugly)

Interviewer: "Do you consider yourself 'popular'?" (Gives a curious smile)

Tyler: "I guess." (shrugs carelessly) "I mean, my name gives away who I am so it's a given."

Interviewer: "What car do you drive since your rich?"

Tyler: "I don't have one yet." (laughs) "Though, I wouldn't mind it." (smiles in thought) "I don't know what type of car I'd want to get. I'll get back to you." (winks)

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "Who's running the business in the end?"

Tyler: "Me." (narrows eyes) "Though my dad would probably end up trying to keep control over it." (sighs) "I'm sorry, are we done yet? I'm tired of talking about the business and my father. Touchy subject and all, you know?"

Interviewer: (nods) "Of course. That was the end of the listed questions. Thank you for your time, Mr. Collins." (smiles, stands with Tyler, shakes hand, then Tyler leaves the room)

Summary: Meet Kristina "KC" Collins, East Wood High's "It" girl. She has it all - the fashion, the friends, the popularity, the boyfriend, the money. Or rather, she had it all. Sadly, she never knew of the rules that came with entering high school. There are twelves rules about high school. Twelve unspoken rules that help you to survive. However, no one ever seems to follow them. No one ever wants to.

It seems for our dear Miss Collins, it will be one rude awakening.
