Ella's Interview*
(Ella opens the door and gracefully makes her way to the Interviewer. They quickly exchange shakes before they sit)
Interivewer: "So let's start with who you are. Could you please introduce yourself?"
Ella: (Nods) "Hey, I'm Ella Knight!"
Interviewer: "Nice to meet you, Ella. How about telling us a little about yourself?"
Ella: (Thinks) "Um, well, I'm seventeen years old, I have a younger brother and sister. Most people think of me as shy, but I just prefer to be on my own. I'm not saying I wouldn't like some company once in a while though. I'm just independent"
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: "I understand that you go to high school. How is it like for you?"
Ella: (Shrugs) "It's alright. I get good grades and I'm not bullied, so you can say I'm doing okay."
Interviewer: "What grade are you in and are you a part of any clubs or sports? Maybe even an art class of sorts?"
Ella: (Smiles) "I'm in my junior year of high school. I don't do any after school activities. I tried soccer in freshmen year, but the coach believe it or not always "forgot" to put me in the game. It got embarrassing being the only person who never played, so I didn't try out for another sport again. I wasn't even that bad!" (Throws arms in the air)
(Interviewer smiles)
Interviewer: "What do you plan on doing after high school?"
Ella: "College. I want to study to be a lawyer. I decided on that when I was only seven years old and have stuck with it ever since." (Smiles)
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: "Is there a certain someone that has captured your attention?" (Raises an eyebrow)
Ella: (Blushes) "Nick Jordan." (Smiles)
(Interviewer chuckles)
Interviewer: (Flips page) "You seem slightly quiet. Surely that means that you are really into your classes. Would you classify yourself as part of the smarter few in school?"
Ella: "Pretty much." (Laughs a little) "There's never anything else for me to do and no one to hang out with, so all I got are my books." (Shrugs)
Interviewer: "Nice...what sort of hobbies are you into?"
Ella: "I read a lot. I also did some soccer when I was younger, but quit after freshmen year. I sound pretty anti-social to you, don't I?"
(Interviewer shakes head)
Interviewer: "If you could go back and change the way things were, would you? If so, what would you change?"
Ella: "To be honest with you, I like the way things are for me. Yeah, it sounds pretty messed up, but if things were different, if I had friends, I may not have been able to meet Nick." (Smiles then looks at phone. She then jumps out of her seat) "Gotta run!" (Smiles and runs out of the room)
Interviewer: (Confused) "What?" (Then shrugs and leaves)
