ITC: Tristan (The Messenger's Redemption)

Tristan's Interview*

(Tristan opens the door and then slowly strolls his way over to the Interviewer. Interviewer waits, then stands both exchanging shakes and then take a seat)

Interviewer: (Fixes paper) "Shall we get started." (Tristan's nods) "What's your name?"

Tristan: "Hi. The name's Tristan. Well, the last name is Chase now, it used to be Petrova."

(Interviewer raises an eyebrow)

Interviewer: "Interesting...what kind of guy are you?"

Tristan: (Makes a face) "Type of guy? Um, I would say I'm your ordinary guy. I try to help out where I can and enjoy doing my own thing. Not that Nikolai would allow that though." (Unconsciously rubs his hand with a sad expression)

Interviewer: "How's your life right now, and how do you feel about it?"

Tristan: (Smiles) "My life's gotten a lot better since Dad and Miss Ray took me away from the estate. I used to be miserable back there. However, since we live with Daemon, Miss Lonni and the rest of the family, I feel like I can smile again." (Smiles brigten)

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "Tha's nice...tell us a little about the family you grew up with." (Lowers paper)

Tristan: (He goes silent and looks down at his shoes) "I wouldn't call those people I grew up with a family. The only person that made it bareable was Maria. She was like a mother to me." (looks as if he's about to cry) "Sorry, I just need a moment.." (Turns head)

(Interviewer stays silent as Tristan composes himself, before turning back)

Interviewer: "Your biological family...what do you know about them?"

Tristan: (Raises an eyebrow) "My biological family? It's just Dad and Mom as far as I know. Dad said his side died and Mom said nothing about her side so I know a lot."

Interviewer: ".....Do you have any interest in them?" (Gives a curious face)

Tristan: "I would say I do. I try to reconnect with Dad everyday." (Grins)

(Interviewer nods again)

Interviewer: "So, I heard you're good with computers? Explain."

Tristan: (Laughs a little) "I wouldn't say I'm that good". (Rubs his head) "Miss Ray is a lot better than I am. She just taught me programming. I went on further to learn how to create viruses and other programs." (Shrugs)

Interviewer: "Do you enjoy all of that?"

Tristan: "I do enjoy it. It was how Miss Ray and I became so close." (Smiles)

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "If you could change one thing, what would it be?"

Tristan: (Frowns) "I don't believe in changing my past because then my present wouldn't be as it is now."

Interviewer: "What are your future plans?"

Tristan: "Future plans? I suppose it's to finish college. I kinda dropped out in final year. I also want to help my mother and father rebuild I suppose."

Interviewer: "Anything else that you would like to say?"

Tristan: (Shrugs) "I don't. Just don't tell Miss Ray that I mentioned her so much." (Grins and then stands up. They quickly shake hands and Tristan leaves)

Interviewer: "That's an....interesting life." (Looks at clock) "Lunch." (Then leaves room)

Summary:

"Try anything, messenger, and they die"

Logan Chase, a messenger for hire, was expecting a normal pick-up and drop off job. But little did he know that he was carrying a USB drive containing a list that could change not only his future but the future of Costa Luna's underground. Now after spending 15 years in Luna Penitentiary, he's broken out and looking for revenge.

With his son being raised by the enemy and his wife on the verge of a mental break, he can only turn to his old enemies for help. A lot has changed in 15 years after all...
