ITC: Adrian (Deadly Attractions)

Adrian's Interview*

(The Interviewer looks around for Adrian but he is nowehere to be seen. Seconds tick by and then an hour. The interviewer wondered what in the world could be taking him so long! The cameramen were becoming awfully impatient, as was the Interviewer.)

(The door opens and a furry Adrian walked in, his clean cut looking suit covered with what looked like cat's shedded fur. He took a seat beside the annoyed Interviewer, giving her one of his killer smiles while he dusted the cat hair off of his suit.)

(The Interviewer frowned)

Interviewer: "We're on a schedule here, mister. You can't just come whenever you feel like it."

(Adrian's smile turned into an apologetic frown)

Adrian: "My bad pretzels, I ah...Well, I saw some cats on the way here and had to take them with me back to Campbell."

Interviewer: Pr-pretzels?!

Adrian: (Shrugs) "A habit of mines."

(The interviewer decided to forgive him since his suit had been noticebly covered in cat fur. She gestured with her hands to the cameraman, signaling for them to start recording.)

Interviewer: (Coughs loudly) "So, we have a guest here today from Deadly Attraction. Hello. What's your name?"

Adrian: (Takes off the his suit jacket, leaving him clothed in a white collared shirt, his wild tattoos poking out from his chest) "The name's Adrian, Adrian Monroe."

Interviewer: (Shakes her head to focus) "What kind of guy are you around others?"

Adrian: (Winks) "Around the ladies, if they want, I can get down and dirty. Around others i'm an outgoing person and get along with everyone pretty easily. I have good friends who tolerate the way I am and am fucking grateful to even deserve that."

(Interviewer smiles, as if seeing some good in him)

Interviewer: "So tell me, are you diferent on the inside?"

Adrian: (Rubs his chin and gives it a deep thought) "Yeah...I am. Ever since I was a little boy, I liked to paint. You know, scenery, people, and objects. It's what I do and the only thing that keeps me going these days. I've always been freakishly smart during high school through college but the ladies didn't seem to mind."

Interviewer: (Nods and quickly glances at the clipboard) "What do you like to do in your free time during the day?"

Adrian: "Well there's this secret place I always go to, like a hideout. It makes me feel calm and relaxed. Other than that, you know the rest of the answer to that question."

(The interviewer rolled her eyes, knowing he probably spent his time doing god knows what with women, several women as a matter of fact, during the day)

Interviewer:(Opens her mouth and said it before she could stop herself) "What do you like to do..a-at night."

Adrian: (Grins) "Woah pretzels, you're actually quite bold. Since you asked, it can't be helped. I sleep and its a little embarrasing to admit but I own one stuffed animal that I use to keep me warm at night."

Interviewer: (Sighs in relief) "Jesus, I thought you were going to say..."

Adrian: "Say what? What were you thinking in that head of yours?" (Raises an eyebrow)

Interviewer: "O-on the the next question!"

(Adrian chuckles)

Interviewer: "Do you at least like one girl in particular?"

Adrian: (Runs his hands through his black hair) "........"

Interviewer: "Um, do I need to repeat the question again?"

Adrian: (Laughs it off like a crazy man) "No, you don't."

Interviewer: (Frowns) "Okay...do you ever plan on getting into a long term relationship with someone?"

Adrian: (Also frowns) "What's up with these questions?"

Interviewer: "Just answer it, for god's sake!"

Adrian: (Sighs) "I don't know. There's this girl, her names Mia. She makes me feel these things that I can't explain. She's my friend but sometimes...sometimes, hell I just don't know what's going on anymore with myself."

Interviewer: (Nods) "How's life for you right now? Explain."

Adrian: "Good."

Interviewer: "Good? That's it? That's all you have to say? Come on, you can say more than that."

Adrian: (Sighs once again) "It's changing. Ever since she came into my life, it's feels like I don't even know myself anymore. She changed me. I guess you can say my life's complicated, not including the sex whenever I want and however I want though."

Interviewer: (Rolls her eyes) "If you could change anything, what would it be? And how would it impact your life?"

Adrian: (Crosses his arms and shakes his head) "Can we stop with the complicated questions, pretzels?"

Interviewer: (Shakes her head) "No can do. I'm sorry Adrian but i' just doing my job and all you have to do is give me answers. So, let me ask you again. If you could change anything, what would it be? And how would it impact your life?"

Adrian: "If I could change anything, it would be my middle school years. Believe it or not, i've been bullied until I went into high school and changed myself and my appearance. I even looked scrawny and harmless! It would impact my life by making me a much better person than I am now."

Interviewer: (Nods and writes down some notes) "What are yor plans for the future?"

Adrian: "I haven't really thought of it. But for now, i'm sticking with being a painter."

Interviewer: "Alright, the very last question I have for you and then you can leave to whatever you were doing. Is there anything else you would like us to know?"

Adrian: (Turns head away) "No...Well, yes. Actually, my father had been one of those drunks. You know, the kind that smashes everything in the house and beat up their kids. I was a victim and as a kid, it just left a scar and stayed like that."

Interviewer: (Inhales deeply, offering him a sympathetic glance) "All right boys, that's a wrap! Good job! Are you thirsty? We have some refreshments at the table over there?"

Adrian: (Shakes his head) "Nice meeting you, Pretzels." (Then he leaves the room. Interviewer shrugs and gets a drink herself)

~..........interesting. And I don't recall having a she as an Interviewer. Um...well she signed a contract... Anyways Adrian has a very interesting life. Mostly him and this Mai girl. Oh... I can see it now, can't you? Well if you can't check out:

Summary: Mia Ashton finally got into the college of her dreams, Campbell University and it's in Paris! Everything is going fine, at least until she meets Adrian Monroe, the typical bad boy and player with crazy looking tattoos all over his body. He's the famous player for one night stands, his looks able to make almost any woman swoon. She's of course, immune to his charms and good looks though, making him want her even more. But as she gets to know Adrian better, she begins to wonder if her heart and body are in danger! Will Mia somehow find love along this bumpy road of college life?
