Seth's Interview*
(Seth strolls in slowly, making the Interviewer very impatent. Instead of shaking hands, Seth takes a seat leaving the Interviewer hanging. Interviewer frowns and then seat with papers in hand)
Interviewer: "...Hello. What's your name?"
Seth: (Takes out a cigarette and lights it) "Seth Clark, who wants to know?"
(Interviewer frowns at Seth and at the lit cigarette)
Interviewer: "Um...nevermind. So, what kind of guy are you?"
Seth: (Huffs out a short laugh and leans back in his chair) "What kind of question is that? Anyway, I guess I'm hardworking and a to himself kind of guy. I don't really do the whole "friends" thing."
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: "Does it amuse you to tease someone? If so, who?"
Seth: (Looks up in thought with a small smile) "Well there is Rory, I don't know why I like to push her to her limit. Maybe it's because she's so pushable." (snickers) "Or maybe it's because she's like a kitten that thinks she is a lion."
(Interviewer smiles a bit)
Interviewer: "What are your views on girls? Do you have on in particular you are attracted to?"
Seth: (Grins) "Girls are great. Nothing serious though, they always bring trouble. Sometimes I wonder if..." (Flicks cigarette into a cup and sighs heavily) " some things just aren't meant to be."
(Interviewer raises eyebrow, but doesn't say anything)
Interviewer: "Okay...what about your mother? I heard something happened-"
Seth: (Interrupts) "Jesus! Is this like Inside the Actor's Studio? Yeah my mom died, it was a while ago and I'm over it." (Shows fury in his eyes)
Interviewer: "And your father? I hear you seldom speak about him, care to give us any info?"
Seth: (Jaw clenchs and he looks down) "Let's not get into that..."
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: "What do you do for a living?"
Seth: (Smiles) "I work at Hollis' Pub as a waiter but some nights I'm the bartender."
Interviewer: (Flips page) "What do you like to do when you aren't working?"
Seth: "When I'm not working?" (Laughs) "That's hardly ever, but I don't know." (rubs bottom lip with his thumb while thinking) "Concerts, movies and Jason throughs some pretty wild parties."
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: "Do you do drugs, alcohol, or smoke? If so, why?"
Seth: (Holds up cigarette with a small smile) "I smoke. That's it though. Rory asked me the same thing a while ago, what is it with people needing reasons. I just do." (Shrugs)
(Interviewer makes a face with the smell of smoke)
Interviewer: "How do you feel about your life right now?"
Seth: "It's pretty shitty." (Laughs lightly) "I'm working to pay bills, while going to summer school where I have to deal with Rory always up in my business. And I haven't gotten laid in a few months." (frowns while putting out cigarette)
Interviewer: "If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?"
Seth : "I wouldn't change anything, the world maybe a fucked up place but I wouldn't change anything."
(Interviewer nods)
Interviewer: (Looks down at paper) "Do you have any future plans?"
Seth: (Thinks) "Ah, there it is! The big question!" (Rolls eyes) "Well right now I am just trying to get summer school over with."
(Interviewer shrugs and looks at last question)
Interviewer: "Would you like to say anything else?"
Seth: "Yeah, don't ever let anyone tell you how to live your life." (Winks and gets up) "Now, I've got to go." (Takes cirgarette and walks out. Interviewer starts to coughs and goes get an air fresher)
Interviewer: "That should do." (Looks at the clock) "Out of here." (Then leaves the room)

Director's Note:
~Had a late start this morning so here is another one. Seth seems...interesting. Don't know much to say about him, but continue I must. Though I wonder what happens between him, Rory, his father, and his mother. If you want to get inside his head read:
-Summer School
Author by: BrennaBenevolence16
Summary: "Rory," He held out a hand to me and my eyes snapped up to his, "This is it." His hand was still outstretched to me and though my breathing had stopped my heart was still fighting to jump out of my chest. To anyone else his words would sound strange, like nonsense, but I understood him completely. He was offering me a way out. If I took his hand I would be leaving the joke of a life I had been living behind. I would be leaving behind all the lies, pressure, and the need to please everyone behind. And I would be lying if I didn't say I was confused and scared at making that choice. How could a simple gesture turn into a choice of my future? I didn't know, but I did know one thing, it was time to choose. '
Rory Miller has always strived to please everyone, and has a hard time of saying no. And like any other highschool graduate she is ready to be free of highschool and enjoy her summer with her best friend and boyfriend. Well, that's until she got signed up for a summer school program. Not only does she have to go to summer school, she has to teach it! How is she supposed to control her class when she's never told anyone what to do before? On top of that, she suddenly has some nameless jerk giving her middle fingers and bringing out the worst in her. Though she constantly tries to push herself away from him she can't help her curiousity getting the better of her. This summer will change Rory in many ways through tears, smiles, fights and many adventures. And she will realize that maybe at the end of it all, summer school might not be that bad.
~Well, late start but a very great morning though, if you consider watering a friends plants great. I sure did, for I got wet and then hop in her pool. Heh... ('-')' oh well, next interview is a mystery so heads up :)
