ITC: Dill (According to Dill)

Dill's Interview*

(Dill walks into the room, and gives the interviewer a grin) "Hi!" (She pushes up her shirtsleeves and sits down)

(Interviewer nods and get the papers ready)

Interviewer: "Hello and welcome...what's your full name?"

Dill: (Smiles) "Dill Reeves. My parents don't really believe in middle names. They think they're too fancy." (Shrugs)

(Interviewer shurgs as well)

Interviewer: "You hang out with guys. Why?" (Gives curious look)

Dill: (Worries at the wool of her jumper with her fingers) "You just had to go straight to the hard questions, huh? I think it's because I never had a proper female role model. My Mum is... different. So I just did what I love doing, what the rest of my family do: football and rugby. But I never really got on with any of the guys at school either. Just my brothers and the lads at my Rugby club."

(Interviewer nods)

Dill: "Would you consider yourself popular?"

Dill: (Laughs) "Are you kidding? I'm just the oddball everyone whispers about behind their back."

Interviewer: "Interesting... what's your favorite sports to play?

Dill: "Rugby is my favourite sport. All of my family play it. I also love extreme sports though. And football. Oh, and I'm okay at long distance running." (Shrugs)

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "Tell us who Hannah is? Anything else you like to say about her?"

Dill: (Flicks back fringe) "Hannah? Well she's kind to take on the likes of me, that's for sure. I s'pose you could call her a typical girly girl. I mean, she likes pink, and dresses and talks about boys; but she's different to the rest of them. More real. We're actually very similar!" (Laughs a little)

Interviewer: Interesting....what's your favorite past time?" (Gives curious look)

Dill: (Thinks) "I guess hanging out with my friends, now I have some. You couldn't ask for better friends than Hannah and Scott. Other than that, I like to watch videos on YouTube and play sports."

Interviewer: "Huh...what makes you tick? Literally."

Dill: (Frowns) "Not sure about that one. There isn't really any one thing."

(Interviewer shrugs and flips page)

Interviewer: "Do you like to be a 'girlie' girl?"

Dill: (Thinks a bit) "I wouldn't call myself a 'girly girl', but I've definately become more, er... feminine since I realised that was okay. Y'know? I think Hannah helped me to realise that. I'll never be the kind of person who wears dresses everyday and paints on their face every morning though." (Shudder a thought)

(Interviewer chuckles)

Interviewer: "What are things that makes you happy?"

Dill: (Smiles at thought) "My family and friends. Especially my brothers, they mean everything to me."

Interviewer: "Aw...sweet. Are you going to take the role as a stuntdouble?"

Dill: (Gets excited) "Definately! Hannah told be to take opportunities so that's what I'm trying to do. And let me tell you, my life is already so much better because of it." (Smiles brightly)

Interviewer: "Do you have any secrets that you like to share?" (Raises an eyebrow)

Dill: (Becomes secretive) "I don't know if I should be telling you this, but I'm really worried about Jem. He's my eldest brother. He's been coming home with all sorts of nasty injuries. But in our house, we don't ask questions. I doubt he'd answer anyway." (Frowns)

(Interviewer faces matches her mood)

Interviewer: (Changing subject) "What's going to happen from now on?"

Dill: "Well, I'm actually looking forwards to the next few months! We're starting filming so tht should be exciting. I'll be hanging out with Hannah and Scott loads hopefully!" (Dill glances at her watch) "Sorry, I need to go! Hannah's getting out of hospital in a few. Thanks for having me. Bye" (She then rushes out)

Interviewer: (Gives a confuse look) "Why is Hannah is hospital?" (Frowns, gets things, and leaves the room)
