ITC: Maddi (Vampires and Other Things That Don't Exist)

Maddi's Interview*

(Maddi strolls in while the Interviewer waits for her. When she was close enough, they exchange shakes and then both of them take a seat)

Interviewer: (Straighten paper) "What's your name?"

Maddi: (Smiles sweetly) "Maddi Jones."

(Smiles back at her)

Interivewer: "How nice. How school for you?"

Maddi: "School? Bo-ring! I have the A+ and dweebs do my homework." (Smirks)

(Interviewer keeps quiet)

Interviewer: "Are you popular at your school?" (Raise eyebrow)

Maddi: "Very." (Raise eyebrow as well)

(Interviewer narrows eyes)

Interviewer: "Do people mess with you?"

Maddi: "Uh, NO! They better not." (Cross her arms)

Interviewer: "Okay...do you believe in supernatural beings?"

Maddi: "Psh, no way. Supernatural is SO last year." (Rolls her eyes)

(Interviewer nods slowly)

Interviewer: "Are there things that scare you?"

Maddi: "Nothing! What do you think I am, a," (speaks with contempt) "SCARDEYCAT?"

(Interviewer shrugs)

Interviewer: "Are there things that you like to do?"

Maddi: (Smiles deviously) "Tormenting nerds, making other girls mad when I steal their boyfriends, my expertise, shopping, and doing makeup." (Rubs hand together)

(Interviewer stays quiet in shock)

Interviewer: "Who can't stand?" (Raise eyebrow)

Maddi: "Laige Kjell. What a priss!" (Shakes her head)

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "Um...what are things that anger you?"

Maddi: (Gives a dead-eye look) :Laige Kjell. God, I hate her. People with horrible fashion sense, people with great fashion sense," (mutters) "compe-tition... and guys who stare at me all class, it's distracting." (Rolls her eyes)

(Interviewer is speechless and got nothing to say)

Interviewer: "Okay...are you what people expect of you?" (Raises eyebrow)

Maddi: (Head tilts side ways with a confused face for she doesn't understand the question)

(Interviewer waves hand in dismissal)

Interviewer: (Flips page) "Do you have plans for the future?"

Maddi: (Nods head) "I want to be a fashion model and take over my mom's store, Pretty & Perfect."

(Interviewer nods head)

Interviewer: "Do you have anything else you would like to say?"

Maddi: (Laughs quietly) "Yes...thanks for doing this interview for me, I know people will love it, and when I'm famous, this interview will be regarded with high esteem." (Winks)

Interviewer: "Well we were glad-" (Maddi raises a finger after looking at her phone)

Maddi: "Gotta run." (Waves and leaves the room)

Interviewer: (Shrugs) "Oh, well." (Then leaves as well)
