Chase's Interview*

(Chase walks in smoothly as the Interviewer gets ready. When Chase has reached the Interviewer, they quickly shook hands before sitting)

Interviewer: (Looks down at paper than back at Chase) "Ready?" (Chase's nods) "Alright....what's you name?"

Chase: "Chase Cruz." (Flashes a smile)

Interviewer: "Nice name...are you a treasure hunter?"

Chase: "No, I manage Cruz Advertising. But my friend, Paul's accident made me realize that I'm wasting my time away just supervising inconsequential business transactions. And somehow that led me to going on a treasure hunting trip with Sandra." (Smiles at thought)

Interviewer: "Uh...this things that's between you and Cassandra. What's up with that?" (Raises an eyebrow)

Chase: "It's strictly platonic... as of now. I think." (Furrows eyebrows together)

(Interviewer chuckles)

Interviewer: (Smiles at next question) "Do you like her?"

Chase: "I like Sandra because of her spontaneity, her wild sense of humour and her way of thinking. It's rather refreshing!

(Interviewer chuckles)

Interviewer: "I see...what are you looking forward to on your vacation?"

Chase: (Grins) "Learning how to relax and not work 24/7."

Interviewer: "Sounds nice...how did you guys started on a treasure hunt?"

Chase: (Scratches head) "I met Sandra by chance at the airport while I was on my way to London and she managed to convince me that I was wasting my life away. The next thing I know, I'm on a plane to Malta."

Interviewer: "Dang...do you believe that people can change?"

Chase: "No, people never change. They just pretend to and when things go south, they show their true colours. It's the universal truth." (Frowns)

(Interviewer shrugs)

Interviewer: "How would you describe yourself?"

Chase: "A good business man." (Shrugs) "At least, that's what the statistics insist on."

Interviewer: "What are tthings that make you tick? Literally."

Chase: (Becomes angry) "When people don't pick up their phone. I mean, what if the person's in trouble, dials the last number they called and it's you but you don't pick up and he dies? It's just wrong and unethical to ignore calls." (Folds arm across chest)

(Interviewer stays silent)

Interviewer: "....... what things you do on your free time?"

Chase: (Frowns) "I don't usually have free time."

Interviewer: "Interesting...is there any secrets you like to share with us?"

Chase: (Sadden) "I miss my mom. Even though I never got the chance to know her, I would like to believe that she was a wonderful person."

(Interviewer nods)

Interviewer: "Is there anything else you would like to say?"

Chase: (Grins) "Thanks for the interview... You made me feel really comfortable right from the start!" (They both get up and exchange shakes. Then Chase leaves, followed by the Interviewer)
