Pete and I travel around campus. Him and I stroll with coffee in our hands and stress from our classes. I sat back in the large class room twiddling a pen in my hand. There is so much more out there than me being in that room. Last night I was still angered by Charles. I suspected him to be a stable man, but all of them are a bunch of assholes.

I just need to forget about what happened. I need to forget about the OFH and forget the offer was ever made. Spray painting is my life. I'm not giving that up. So what if I keep getting sent to jail for it? It's my passion that no one can take away from me.

"I know for a fact I failed that exam," Pete says.

"That is a first," I say.

Pete has never failed a test in his life. I'm pretty sure even in kindergarten he studied his time tables to get prepared for elementary school. I do wish I could be more like him. He has his shit together while mine is spread out all over the floor. In a mutual way, we inspire each other. I'm the reason he wanted to spray paint. I say we should switch places.

Pete forgot about the conversation yesterday. I was being discreet about the OFH. Thankfully he hasn't brought it up, and I don't plan on encouraging him. I was thinking about telling him what happened. Then that would lead to me having to explain my powers and story, which would take quite awhile. As far as I'm concerned, the OFH doesn't exist.

"How do you think you did?" Pete askes me.

"Surely failed," I say. "Shock and suprise."

"If you studied, that will help."

"Let's change the subject," I jump. "How are you and Taylor doing?" He turns his head the other way and squeezes one eye shut.

Taylor and Pete have been dating since the beginning of college. Taylor is a bitch. She is all about appearance. You will never catch her with a piece of clothing on if it doesn't have a famous name on it. Taylor is adamant about a lot of things. The worst is when she tells the people she's hanging out with that they have to be up to par on what they are wearing. One of those people was me. She also hates PDA.

Pete let me tag along on their date once because he said to me we would hang out but also told Taylor they could have date night on the same day. Pete felt bad about it and that's how I ended up there. I wore something casual and Taylor left the restaurant because of it. I don't know how Pete stands her, but they compliment each other well.

"Going good," Pete says. He throws his coffee cup in the trash can we pass by.

For Pete being the nice gentleman as he is, he ended up with a bitch. She talks down to him like a dog. Opposites attract and their relationship put that into terms.
