Finding My Broken Angel

chapter 9: Addison

"Addison who did this to you" they ask for the hundreth time "who took you".

I stare blankly at the wall behind the two police officers I forgot there names have been trying to get me to talk for the past hour but have failed, I just stare.

"Addison please, we won't to help" one says.

I blink, I'm so tired of people asking what happened, I can't tell something bad will happen f I tell, no one can help me but they don't understand, I'm his and always will be even if I get away from him hes still apart of me, I'm his blood.
Nick was sent out of the room when the police came and I feel so lonely, I'm all alone again like before.

"Addison" one says snapping me back.

They turn to each other with annoyed looks  "this isn't working" one says.

"Shes like zoned out our something" the slightly taller one says with a beard.

"We should just go, we won't get anything from her now" the shorter one sighs.

Taller cop gets up and walks towords me waving his hand infront of my face trying to get my attention.

"Addison" he says softly.

He touches my shoulde and images of my fathers wicked smirk apears as he punches me and I lose it, I scream as loud as I can making him jump away, I don't stop.
The door slams in and Nick runs towords me wraping me in his arms, my screams turn into sobs as I hide in his chest.

"What did you do to her" Nick grows.

"Nothing, I touched her shoulder and she freaked out" he says.

I keep crying as Nick pulls me closer, the police officers leave and Dr Andrews rushes in lookig worried.

"Addison what happened" he rushes.

"She just freaked out a bit, shes ok" Nick answers rubbing my back.

"Ok" Dr Andrews sighs "I think you should take Addison home now, she might feel better there, I've already filled out the paperwork".

"Ok thank you" Nick says.

Dr Andrew leaves as Nick scoops me up in his arms holding me close as we walk out of the room and down the hall, my tears have stopped and I just want to sleep.
We reach Nicks car and he places me inside clipping my seatbelt for me and hops into the drivers seat.

"Ready to go home" Nick asks as he starts the car.

I nod even though I don't know were my home is anymore, or if I even have one now.

The ride is quick and we soon pull into the driveway, Nick helps me out but I walk myself, as soon as I step inside I'm wraped into a tight huge, Fiona pulls me close and I can feel her tears on Nicks jacket, I stiff at first not knowing what to do but evenually I relax and return the hug.

"I missed you so much" she sobbs.

She pulls away to look at me, she gasps taking in my apearence, she cupps my cheeks in her hands and turns it around so she can get a better look.

"Your hair is blond" she gasps.

I here Nick sigh behind me, we stand there akwardly for abit not knowing what to do, eventually Fiona breaks the silence.

"You must be starving, let me get you something" shes says going to turn away.

"Mom, I think shes just tired" Nick says.

"Oh of course, go, sleep honey" she says nudging me up the stairs.

I make it to Nicks room but it look weird, like its not my room as well anymore, everything looks unfarmiliar even if I spent hours here it just feels weird.

"Here put this on" Nick says handing me a baggy tshirt and shorts.

I put them on and walk to the bed sitting down, it feels weird and not welcoming and it doesn't smell like Nick, it smells like perfume but thats weird.
I'm brought out of my trance by barking as Angel runs into the room jumping on my lap, I pat her soft fur and smell her puppy smell.

"She missed you" Nick says.

I nod pulling her into a hug, feeling her warmth, its the only farmiliar thing here, I lay down on the unfarmiliar bed trying to get the smell away as I turn to the wall trying to hide my fears of Nick betraying me by being with someone else.
I just hope he loved me enough that he wouldn't cheat on me.
