Chapter 32

Bambi :

I drifted out of my sleep around eleven and immediately started getting hype. I did a happy dance in my room resulting in a quick 'dab' at the end as I moon walked into my bathroom. I handled my personal hygiene and took a thirty minute shower before running downstairs.

"Mommy! Daddy! I graduate today!", I yelled out as I ran into their room. My mom got up and hugged me tightly while kissing my forehead, as my dad embraced us both. I'm happy they were able to settle their differences and come together a few days ago.

"My baby girl is finally about to finish high school and go on to college. I am so proud of you baby.", My dad said as he kissed my cheek. I was already smiling extra hard at how excited I was for today. I am going to he a graduate. My mom got up from her bed and walked to her vanity, returning with a small box. I opened it to see a Pandora charm bracelet with about six charms on it. All of them meant something different that applied to my personality or described me.

"I love it, and I love you guys so much.", I said while pulling them both into a hug.

"We love you too, but you should probably start getting ready, you don't want to be late.", my mom said. I gave them both kisses on the cheek before running back up to my room and pulling out my white fitted dress that I had bought. I slipped into my dress and sat down at my vanity, while doing my make up. My hair was still rolled up in rollers underneath my bonnet and my nails were freshly done in a french tip manicure, along with my toes, although they wouldn't be visible.

Once I finished applying my smokey eye shadow look and red lipstick, I began to remove the rollers from my hair. I had got extensions the day before to add to my shoulder length, silk pressed hair, which now made it stop in the middle of my back. My curls came out very bouncy and big as I combed through them with my finger. I placed my gold earrings in and my gold necklace that had Jamerica on it before slipping into my gold studded pumps. I then walked over to my full body mirror and admired my attired, I felt beautiful. My cap and gown were already in my car, so I grabbed my purse and my keys before walking downstairs.

"I'll see you guys at graduation!", I yelled to my parents before walking out the door. I had to be there an hour early so we could rehearse everything.

Lord, I can't believe I am about to graduate form high school.

BJ :

I sped down Orange Avenue, heading for the trap, so I can hurry up and get this drop from JJ. I had to be doing at least twenty over the speed limit because I was trying not to miss the line up, and I woke up late. Tony was blowing up my phone, considering that I wasn't at school yet and line up was to start in about fifteen minutes. Once I pulled up to the trap, I handed JJ the money I had already counted out, took the duffel bag and dapped him up before leaving. I was speeding back down Orange Avenue, until I heard sirens behind me.

I slowed down my pace and pulled over, hoping they hadn't clocked me and caught how fast I was speeding. The police car cut off it's siren, but left its lights on as it pulled up behind my car. I tried to keep my cool considering that I had drugs in my car and I forgot to put them in the trunk, so the duffel was sitting in my passenger seat.

They about to catch me slippin'.

"Sir, do you know that you were doin' a 55 in a 35 mile per house speed limit zone.", the officer asked while writing something down.

"Yes sir. I am in a rush because I'm tryin' not to miss gradu-"

"I am goin' to have to ask you to step out of the car sir.", he said while cutting me off.
