Chapter 48: Freeing

"Happy birthday, Takehito, Reborn, Tsuna!"
It took some effort, but everyone was able to find out when Tsuna's birthday was, which was surprisingly the same as Hito's.
Reborn had a Vongola-style birthday, which made Tsuna laugh at some moments.
Tsuna gave Natsu--from Hito's future--to the blonde, along with the other box-animals to the other Guardians.
Hito presented a mug--reading '#1 sadist'--for Reborn and a gift card for Tsuna to a coffee shop.
Tsuna smiled and thanked the other for the gift.
The brunet walked up to Reborn and presented a plate with tiramisu on it, whispering that it was only a part of his present.
Reborn raised an eyebrow as he started to eat the bitter dessert.

Everyone was confused when Tsuna called all of the Arcobaleno up.
Everyone appeared--even Verde and Viper, who were pretty hard to convince in coming.
Tsuna smiled mysteriously at them as he told them to follow him to Namimori Hill, where it would be secluded enough for Reborn's second part of his present.
When they got there, Night flames appeared, then Mist flames and then an elderly man hobbled into the scene.
Tsuna smiled brightly.
"Konbanwa, Bermuda-san, Jager-san, Kawahira, and Talbot-san."
Everyone tensed at the sight of the familiar Vendice-wear and the man.....wearing a checker-patterned mask.
Bermuda, the baby, resisted the urge to kill Checkerface at the moment.
Reborn was about to pull his gun out, but Tsuna waved him down, smiling calmly.
The hitman then noticed what Tsuna called the man.
"You said...'Kawahira'?"
A nod came from Tsuna as Mist flames surrounded Checkerface once more, revealing the familiar, green yukata-wearing man they saw from the future.
Kawahira smiled as he magically pulled out a bowl of noodles.
"Hello~!"
The white-haired man's face suddenly turned somber.
"I...cannot apologize to all of you enough with words alone..." Kawahira looked at Tsuna and smiled. "But hopefully....you'll find some repentance for my sins in Tsunayoshi-kun."
Everyone looked at the brunet with confusion; Bermuda floated off of Jager's shoulder and drifted in front of Tsuna's face.
"You told me that you can lift the Curse of the Arcobaleno," There were collective gasps from the others. "You better not be lying."
Tsuna merely smiled serenely as he turned to look at Talbot, who was chuckling.
"My, my....and now the attention shall be directed to me, eh?"
The blind man hobbled closer to the brunet and pulled a round device out of his cloak.
Tsuna took it into his hands and smiled brightly to the others.
"This device here...shall break the Curse of the Arcobaleno."
Everyone looked at him with shock.
"Eh/How/Impossible!"
Tsuna looked at them and smiled softly, chuckling lightly.
"I guess...I can reveal myself to you all truly."
Tsuna bowed slightly and looked at them with bright, sunset-orange eyes.
"Konbanwa, Mina-san.  My name is Sawada Tsunayoshi, the Vongola Decimo of a parallel world."
The ones that didn't know stared at Tsuna with open mouths, gaping.
"EEEEEEEEEH!?"
Tsuna chuckled at their expressions as he explained further....even speaking of his deceased Guardians.

Everyone looked at the brunet with slight sadness and shock.
'He can still stand after seeing his Guardians again like this?'
Tsuna merely smiled with slight bitterness.
"Well!  Now that's through with, I need Bermuda-san to insert his Night flames into this device, along with the other Arcobaleno."
Everyone watched with bated breath as the process started.
Soon, a white light filled their vision.
Everyone was shocked to see seven adults there.
(O.D.D.- I know the manga had Lal-san as the only adult and the others still babies, but I'm just making it a little different. (*^_^*))
The uncursed adults looked at themselves with amazement--Colonello glomped Lal with a tight hug, and the bluenette returned the affection with a kick to the blonde's head.
Skull dashed over to Tsuna, hugging the brunet tightly as he thanked the ex-Decimo over and over again.
Tsuna chuckled as he pat the other, returning the hug.
Crack.
Everyone turned their heads to the soft noise.
Bermuda and Jager.....their bodies were slowly cracking; ashes falling from them.
Bermuda smiled through his bandages as he looked at Tsuna.
"Thank you...Tsunayoshi-kun, for releasing us from those long years."
Tsuna smiled back, eyes a bit watery as he saw the two disappear.
They were finally gone; Bermuda's hat drifted to the ground, along with Jager's.
And then...Tsuna saw a white light surrounding his body; the others did also.
"Sawada/Tsuna/-Sensei!"
The brunet smiled as he stepped back from the others.
"It's time...."
Tsuna grinned.
"Don't be sad, Mina!  This world's Tsuna will be back--although he'll be a lot more shy than me.  Take care of him, neh?"
Tsuna then turned to look at Hito.
"One more thing, Hito-kun." The blonde teen listened attentively. "There's a boy name Kozato Enma.  You'll find him on an island on the outskirts of Japan--take care of him."
Tsuna then turned to look at Reborn, scowling playfully.
"Don't make this world's me have a life of he**, got that!?"
Reborn smirked, childishly covering ears with his hands.
"Eh?  Can't hear you!"
Tsuna huffed in amusement and waved to them one last time.
"....So long, Mina."
The white light surrounded him and dispersed, revealing the same brunet, but everyone could find a difference in the aura that the unconscious brunet was producing.
Hito quickly jogged over and shook the other gently.
Chocolate-brown eyes slowly opened and...
"HIIIIIIEEEE!?  Where am I!?  Tachibana-kun?  Hiiiieee!  HI-HIBARI-SAN!?"
The brunet adult scrambled backwards and his back hit the legs of a certain hitman, who smirked evilly down at the other.
"He wasn't joking when he said that you be a lot 'shier' than him."
(O.D.D.- Reborn-san's referring to the parallel Tsuna that spoke to them before he left. ( ^ω^ ))
Tsuna trembled and curled up into a ball.
"Uwaaaah!  Please don't hurt meee!"
Hito sweatdropped before smiling nervously.
"Eto, Sawada-Sensei."
"Hie!?"
"Don't worry.  We're not here to hurt you."
The brunet blinked his chocolate-brown eyes owlishly, but he slowly relaxed.
Tsuna looked at the other people there in confusion.
"Ano...how did I get here?  I thought I was in my apartment..."
Hito opened his mouth to explain, but Reborn interrupted him, smirking evilly to Tsuna.
"Before all of that~I told your other self that I would make you into a strong fighter.  Get ready for he** Dame-Tsuna~!"
The poor brunet was confused and scared; he instinctively ran away from the hitman, hands on his head to have some sort of protection.
Hito sighed exasperatedly as he ran after them.
"Reborn!  Don't scare Sawada-Sensei away!"
Everyone else joined in on the chase, laughing, yelling and bickering.
All in all...
...Everyone was finally at peace.
Kawahira smiled as he disappeared in a flash of indigo.
'Another happy ending...'
"What about the Vindice?  They're probably all gone..."
"Hoho~I should probably train Dame-Tsuna into the boss of Vindice then have him recruit members."
"Reborn!  stop scaring Sawada-Sensei already!"
