Warning: Before you read this, be forewarned that this is dark. The story itself is what may or may not happen if you get all of my main roleplay characters in the same room with one another.
--------
There were 5 men sitting in at a table in a blank room. The room itself didn't seem important, it was blank, and nobody there seemed to care that there was no way out. It was just a room, with a table, 5 chairs, and 5 people.

Three of them introduced themselves at the same time,"I'm Ryan Endo." They looked at each other, not exactly suprised.

One of them said,"I'll go by P."

The next said,"Just call me E."

The last one said,"I guess I'll keep going by Ryan, if that's okay with you all."

One of the other men said,"I'm going by Shade. You don't need to know my real name."

The last man smiled,"I'm Rex Flynn."

There seemed to be a different feeling that came from each person. P seemed to have infinite anger and darkness emanating from him, and his eyes seemed halfway lifeless, like he had already given up.

Shade was similar, angry and dark, but his eyes held a look of determination, like he was still planning something.

E felt quite the opposite. He seemed to have a aura of hope, one who really believed he could change the world.

The Ryan going by Ryan felt much like E, but something about him seemed off, like there was more to him than the positives you saw on the surface.

Lastly, Rex was somewhere in the middle. Although he had some darkness in him, he also believed things could get better.

P soon asked a question,"So, what do you think of yourselves?"

E quickly chimed in,"I'm a man, who despite facing terror and pain, ended up realizing the right path and became a good person."

Shade and P both laughed with contempt, before P said,"You believe you're a good person?! What an idiot, there are no good people in this world."
Although he wasn't done speaking, Rex suddenly spoke up,"That's not true! Good people do exist. Yeah, they're rare, and never perfect, but you can't just say they don't! Because you'll find one, and then you'll understand!"

Ryan and E both nodded, understanding Rex's sentiment.

"That's what you believe, maybe. But in times of war, times of true pain, then it all becomes clear. Everyone is made into monsters, or just hides to protect their innocence, which really just makes more people die! And then there are those who think you actually can be good in a war! And that just makes everything worse. Yes, I'm a villain, a bad person, but at least I will make a change, and even if everyone hates me for it, no moral person could've done it as efficiently." Shade says, anger in his voice.

That causes E to interrupt,"You may think like that. Because I thought like that once. But in the end, I found that the nice way turned out far better than you'd think. Tell me, did what you do get results? Or were you unable to do what you wanted because you were alone? Because you tend to end up alone like that. And as long as you're alone, then you could never understand."

P replied to that with,"I'm not sure about Shade, but I know what you're saying, and it is wrong. It's true I was alone. But it was being alone that allowed me to see the truth. I finally realized just how horrible this world is. And I knew that most people were blinded by friends and society. That's why they would almost certainly not make a change. Even if I was alone and evil, where I lived, someone like you wouldn't have been able to do something big. I was able to do something big, even if it was wrong. You wouldn't even have done anything."
