Entry 131
So after escaping, Kya brought me to this weird underground place. She told me it was a secret hideout. She also told me about who she really was. Apparently, she's the leader of the resistance group against SERN, trying to save the world from what it's become. I never knew, but apparently the world used to be a happier place where everyone was free to say anything they wanted. She said that SERN changed that and made the world how it was today, where people are willing to send kids to prisons like I was. And so they're one of the few people left trying to change the world back. I guess I'm with them now, as I don't know what would happen if I went outside again.

Entry 132
So today I asked about school. I mean, I didn't know how I would learn all the stuff I was learning down in here. But it turns out they did have somebody here willing to teach me things. Plus, she showed me to this room that had a bunch of books! And they weren't all black regulated SERN books either, there were all kinds of books. Some of them had beautiful pictures, I had never seen anything like it! She told me that these would help in my learning. I've always liked to read and write, so this is really exciting. Apparently some other kids were stuck in the prison like place too, so they will be learning under the same teacher as me. I'm surprised this resistance seems this well organized. I bet they can take down the evil SERN, especially with Kya on their side!

Entry 140
Living in here is definitely different than living up above was. Everyone here has that sparkle in there eyes like only the kids and Kya had back up in the normal world. Is that what Kya calls spirit?

Entry 145
There's one room down here that's prohibited to all of us in here. They say that inside lives a hermit of sorts who's spending all his time working on some machine or something. But barely anyone's ever seen him or know who he really is.

Entry 150
Schools honestly a lot more fun now. Even though we don't have as many materials or any of that, it's so different in a good way. The teacher allows us to ask as many questions as we want, and even lets us think about things different ways than the "normal" way that we had to go by in old school. Plus, we get more time to hang out with the other kids. If the whole world was like this, I can only imagine how much better things would be. I can see why Kya is trying so hard to change things now.

Entry 161
Yesterday, we had to run away from our old base. Apparently SERN caught on to us. I managed to grab this along with a couple of books before I left, but now we're in a smaller hideout hoping to not be found again. Apparently SERN started looking for the resistance more after the prison breakout. The strangest thing about all this, is how there's another room that's blocked off just like the workroom, even though nobody ever moved from the other room in the base. We didn't have time to move any project like whatever the man in there was working on.

Entry 165
So the weird thing, is that in the blocked off room, people still act like the man is still in there, even though there's no way he could've moved from the one base to the other. Not without teleportation or something? Although, I also heard Kya and some of the other important people talk about how the machine worked? Although they said it may be a long time before its perfected, it did move from one base to another, but it broke.  Are they making a teleporter?! That's crazy! Another thing is that we're taking a break from school until everybody gets settled in to the new hideout. So I have so much less to do now. I can try to read the books I brought, but I grabbed those ones quickly and half the words are too hard for me. I'm sure I'll find something to do, I mean, it's still plenty crazy in here. I bet there's somebody I can help with something.

Entry 168
I've been going around helping people. It's really nice to do. A lot of people lost some stuff, and it seems even if we don't find it, they seem happier than they were before I came. I asked Kya if she needed help, but as always, she's super busy with other stuff. But that's okay, because she's still cool. I mean, how amazing are you if you lead this whole resistance! The time she does get to spend with me, she often teaches me about the past. She says I may end up needing to know this stuff for some reason. I'm not quite sure what for, but she still has a lot of interesting stories to tell me.

Entry 171
They're restarting school again today. It seems we're finally calming down again after the move to this new base. Apparently everyone needs to be extra careful for a while still. I've honestly begun to get used to this life. Even though it's so different, there's a sense of fun and fulfillment that didn't exist back when I was being controlled by SERN. To be honest, I'm happy with being in some danger if it means I get to live my life like this! Learning about history, and reading, and math, but all in actually interesting ways. When I get older, I'm definitely going to help everyone else out it saving the world from SERN and turning it back to normal!
--------
So that was this chapter here. There's probably going to be a large time skip for the fourth and presumably final chapter. Kay's going to be a more grown up and active resistance member in the next chapter, and I am planning some twists!
