Because I just beat A route of Nier and then looked up the lyrics and went,'Oh god it's so sad.' And then I realized it could fit Madoka Magica Sky so I decided I'd write a thing.
--------
I feel like I'm losing hope
In my body and my soul
And the sky, it looks so ominous
The girl sat twiddling her thumbs, on top of a small building. She could see that nearby, a magical girl or two were likely fighting a witch. She could go to help, but it was pointless. She'd probably only draw in more magical girls to get killed anyways.
"Are you really giving up?" She saw her sister sit down right next to her,"I thought you wanted to find me." It wasn't the real her, of course, just an image created by a wish that the girl hadn't thought through.
"Shut up. It'll just lead to me watching more die."
"But you're fine with coming in after they die then. You used to be such a pure magical girl." The image said to her.
"This is our job. You can hope they live, or hope they could actually help you. But we're all fighting desperately for our lives. It's easier to live like this."

And as time comes to a halt
Silence starts to overflow
My cries are inconspicuous
It went exactly how she predicted. Soon she could tell the witch was still there, but the magical girls had fallen. So she transformed and entered the labyrinth herself. When she reached the witch, she saw the bodies of two girls lying nearby, and ignored them, just looking at the witch.
"I'll avenge you." The girl said, but they were dry words. After all, she already chose not to save them.
She fired her gun from long range, piercing three holes in the witch, before jumping at it and slashing it into pieces with her sword.
She turned back after killing the witch, seeing two copies of herself with their sword inside the two dead magical girls.
"This is how it is...this is the only way it can be." She told herself, ignoring the pain she felt in her heart.

Tell me God, are you punishing me?
Is this the price I'm paying for my past mistakes?
As the world returned to normal, she picked up the grief seed from the witch, using it. Her soul gem was purified once again, and the human vulture left the scene heading back to the apartment she was currently staying in.
She just tried to ignore the voices and people she saw. If only her sister hadn't left. If only she hadn't gone down this path. If only she hadn't made that wish. But there was no turning back now. So she had become accustomed to how she is. And her bloody hands had stopped fazing her, or at least she told herself they had. But she was still a child.

This is my redemption song
I need you more than ever right now
Can you hear me now?
She woke up with tears in her eyes. When she saw the cat-like being standing in her view, she transformed immediately and slashed through it, but all it left was a line of green light through the air. Kyubey wasn't really there.
"Why do I have do be alone. So, so alone. So alone I'm never alone." Sky said, before she screamed,"Why can't there be someone who can really understand me!? Why?!" What could change that? Now that she was so used to this empty violence. To this empty death. How could she find someone?
"You've only gotten farther and farther away from me. If you keep going further...don't you know what you'll become?" She saw a slightly younger her standing there.
Seeing that...she remembered she had to try again. She had to feel the pain again.

Cause we're going to shout it loud
Even if our words sound meaningless
It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world
"Who're you?" One of the other girls asked.
"I'm Sky...Sky Endo. Leave this witch to me." She aimed her gun at the far away monster.
"Don't you just want the grief seed?" Another girl asked.
"No!" She cried out,"Not this time. This time I just want to help you. So please, let me help you."
"Then...we'll all fight it. That way you don't just get yourself killed."
"Right." She fired a few shots at the witch, and they begun to fight.
The other girls helped her, and soon the witch was crying out in pain.
"Die and never return. That way there's one there's one less of you to kill!" She shouted, slashing through it.
But the witch turned all the way around and started to chomp on the girl's body repeatedly, before a spear was thrown into its teeth to stop it.
She tumbled to the ground, rolling over herself and becoming covered in bruises. She couldn't even take the lead against one witch.
