"Ahem! Due to certain difficulties, the story has to be changed up a bit!" Alice said,"Today, you'll follow me throughout the day!" She looks down at the paper in her hands, titled 'script',"Oh, wait, that isn't right. Today, you'll follow Aiko throughout the day. That's a bit disappointing. I wanted to be the main character...And wait, I'm not even in the title!? Tell the Producers I'm quitting if this keeps up!"
"Ms. Alice, please, we must ask you to get ready for the show!"
"Fine!" Alice pouted.
Slowly, Sky's eyes opened,"What a weird dream." She said to herself.
--------
Last time, on the Adventures of Sky Endo (and Alice), after capturing Harry's laptop, Sky and Aiko had to unlock the data hidden inside. With some help from their multitalented Father, they eventually discovered Harry having a file on how many emotions he had collected. And shockingly, it was at 88%! Knowing that his plan must be almost complete, Sky and Aiko were planning to find and take Harry down once and for all, when...
--------
"Alice, you stay her and take care of Aiko." Sky said,"We still don't know why she's sick, and my guts telling me it'll be better off if you stay with her."
"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?" Alice asked.
"Of course! I'm not the one who's mysteriously sick, after all." Sky said,"See you after school!" Sky ran out of Aiko's room, having actually stayed and kept looking after her until the last possible moment she could until she would end up late to school. She sprinted out of the house and towards school so fast the dust she kicked up behind her was surprisingly visible.
Aiko meanwhile was seeing all this through half lidded eyes. Ever since yesterday after school, she had suddenly been struck with a fever, with no warning at all. Sky quickly ran her home, but when Ryan took her to the Doctor, he said that there was nothing wrong with her they knew of. Confused, since she clearly showed certain symptoms, they ended up just trying to give Aiko lots of rest, but she was still staying home from school today because of it.
"Ahem...Aiko, are you there?" Alice asked, hovering over her a bit.
Aiko let out a light grumble, but nothing could really be heard.
"Come on, talk to me! Sky is worried sick you know?" Alice said.
"I'm sorry..." Aiko said quietly.
"Don't be sorry, just get better. Right now!" Alice ordered.
"That's not how it works." Aiko grumbled. Right then, her eyes closed, falling asleep again.
"Hmmm, come on Aiko. Don't just fall asleep on me!" Alice said,"Alright then, knock knock." She lightly knocked on Aiko's face, trying to wake her up, but instead all that happened was her hand hurt a bit. Like she had accidentally hit something hard. Not like a face. "Uhhhhh, what?" Alice seemed confused. She tapped other parts of Aiko's face. Again, it seemed like it wasn't real. Like it was made of wood or something similar. Like it was..."A mask!" Alice suddenly realized,"I bet that jerk Harry did this to Aiko! Well, good thing I noticed." Alice flew around Aiko's face, hoping to see wherever the mask ended. But it didn't look like Aiko had a mask on, it just felt like it..."Well then, plan 2! DISPEL!" With a burst of light, the mask fell off Aiko. It looked a lot like Aiko's face, an almost perfect resemblance., except it was throwing up. "He must've drawn this one." Alice said, remembering Sky's encounter with him after school.
Aiko suddenly sat up,"What happened?!" She asked.
"You got sick." Alice said.
"I did? When? I don't feel sick. If anything, I feel more healthy than ever." Aiko jumped up, punching the air a bit,"I think I could run a whole mile!"
"But it was actually one of those evil masks. Which is why after I got it off, your feelings suddenly flipped completely." Alice tried to explain, but Aiko seemed to distracted by running around her room,"Anyways, now that you're awake and fine, we should probably get to school."
"Huh? What do you mean?" Aiko asked, stopping for a moment.
"It's about 9." Alice pointed to a clock.
"Wait, but school starts at 8:15! I guess we should get going! Is Sky already there?" Aiko grabbed Alice and started running out of the house much like Sky earlier.
"Yeah she should already be at school." Alice said as she got pulled along.
"Then let's just go as fast as we can!" Aiko said, speeding up.
"EEP!" Alice let out, holding the pirate hat on her head to stop it from flying away.
