I'm bored. So I'm going to shuffle my phones bravely second/bravely default soundtrack and write something based on the songs that play. Writing exercise go!

The boy sighed. How'd he end up here. After everything, it was so quiet. Too quiet. He looked around at the city he found himself in. It was peaceful. While, of course it was. It was nicely isolated from the rest of the world. It got to be full of happiness and light, and seemed perfect and calm. The boy scoffed. If only the people knew what was happening to everywhere else. Instead of being stuck here. He wondered if this place would ever see the truth. Instead of being stuck in a dream. But maybe it wasn't too bad, to dream for once. The boy let himself relax. One day, the whole world'll be like this. And nobody will have to worry anymore. That's what he wanted. That's what he would make happen. So he smiled a bit. He'd rested for long enough. For now, he had to finish his plan. He stood up again, fixing up his backpack on his back slightly. He was getting closer by the minute. Soon, he could gain the power he needed. This place had all the tools he needed. Now to get them. He headed out of the city, after preparing a bit more. He quickly got rid of anything in his way, his goal set on the land in the distance. Of course that wasn't quite as easy as he'd hyped himself up to be. Slowly pushing his way through the desert. Just moments ago, he'd felt so strong. And yet the heat, and everything, caused something to change. He looked back towards the town. It was so happy. He smiled. It reminded him of everything he needed to see. One day, all of you will feel that. One day, this war will end. He'd heard the stories. He knew the pain. If anyone could succeed, despite the heat, despite everything. Despite everyone he'd cut down to get this far. He would. So he kept moving. He tramped through the sand, remembering his purpose that he came so far. And then, he fell over, after pushing himself to the limits. The boy awoke sometime soon. Only to see the cover of trees above him. Where am I, he thought. He saw somebody. What was going on?
An old man turned towards the boy,"Awake already? It's not often we get someone like you. The sands take more out of you than you think, you know?"
"What?..." was all the boy could answer, still tired.
"If you really want to reach paradise, you're going to need some help." The old man replied.
"I've made it this far alone." The boy said,"I don't want to get anyone else hurt." And he started to walk out."
"Wait! Wait!" The old man called out,"Take this! It'll help you." He held out a scarf.
"Why are you helping me?" The boy asked.
"I can see it in your eyes. Bring this world piece, my young child." The man said.
The boy took the scarf and began walking through the desert.
Once he got far enough, another figure stood in his way,"Took you long enough, kid! I was starting to think you'd died in the sands."
"What? You?" The boy said, the scarf waving in the wind.
"Heh. You'd thought I was finished. I can't believe you actually got here! Let me give you a hint. You can't stop me peacefully this time. You're messing with forces you don't understand. A kid like you should just play with toys!" The other man said, despite being only slightly older. He pulled out a spear and stabbed at the boy.
"What, stop!" The boy pulled out his rapier and took a defensive stance,"Why are you standing in the way of peace!"
"Come on!" The other man said, stabbing again,"Fight like you mean it."
The boy kept dodging,"Answer me!" He called out, finally attacking.
"Not good enough",the boy said, dodging quickly,"And why, I already told you. A kid like you doesn't know what you're messing with! You'll only make things worse!"
"No!" The boy said, his fists clenched,"There needs to be peace! There has to be! Fine. You want a real fight! Fine!" The boy screamed, tears welling in his eyes,"I'll fight you! I'll take you down! And I promise, that I'll make peace!" He was crying, but went into an offensive stance,"I'll end this the way you want it to end. I'm so sorry!" He started taking quick stabs at his opponent.
The other man started parrying and dodging,"Not bad, kid. No wonder you've gotten this far!"
The boy kept attacking, his mind thinking back to the past,"How are you here?" The boy asked
"I don't know." The other boy replied,"But let's make it just like before."
Another memory came to mind,"Hey, you wanna spar?" The other boy asked.
"Sure! I'm getting good with a sword, you know!" The first boy said, and the two play sparred.
The battle wasn't serious, and the two laughed as they both messed up.
"I'll beat you now." The first boy said,"I cast fire on my sword!"
"You can't do that!" The second boy replied.
"Yeah I can!" He attacked, and hit the other boy,"The end!"
"Heh, fine. You can win this time!" The second boy said, putting his spear away.
Back in the present, the boy knew what he would do.
Both the boy and the man were, tired, and the man left himself open after a thrust with his spear.
"I'll beat you now!" The first boy said,"Firaga Slash!" His rapier was coated in flames, and he stabbed the man.
"You finally... mastered it." The man said, falling onto his knees,"Great...job. You've really...grown impressive, haven't you. I'm so...so sorry. I know how much...this hurts you. But if you could...kill me, you can do...anything. So don't cry...Save this world. Do what you believe...in, my...best...friend." He fell to the ground.
The first boy cried,"No! What have I done! No! You, you can't die!" But then he stopped. He picked up the man's spear, rapier in one hand, spear in the other. And he walked again. To the end of the desert. To paradise.
He finally saw the sprawling green appear before his eyes. It was real. At the end of the desert at the end of the lands, there stood a paradise that held all the power in the whole world. He could feel the beautiful energy all throughout the place. After searching for a bit, he found it. The artifact he'd been looking for. An ancient crystal, said to hold all the will and power of the world. He held it up to the sky, to the sun, and saw its smile. He thought back to everyone he'd been helped by, everyone he'd been hurt by, everyone he'd cared about,...and everyone he'd killed. But this was it. The tool to end the war was in his hands. And soon, everyone would be able to live in a paradise. He set up a magic circle, and started to activate it. And then the whole world went black. "What?" He said, not knowing what was going on.
He heard a voice,"Thank you." It said.
"Who are you? Where are you? What's going on?" The boy asked, looking around.
"I am this worlds guardian spirit. I will do what needs to be done to accomplish your ideals." It said.
"You will?" The boy asked,"You can really do that!" He sounded excited.
"Indeed. When nobody has a dream, nobody will have anything to kill for." It said.
"What was that?" The boy asked.
"When I have everyone's dreams, no one will hurt each other." It said,"Thank you for giving me your dream."
"No...no...this isn't what I wanted! This isn't what he would want!" The boy said, pulling out his rapier.
"You would defy the world itself? What a pitiful fool. I am simply doing what you wanted. I do not understand humans. So foolish, so weak." It said.
"You little. I'll find peace with my own heart. And with everyone's. Not without one!" He cried, and charged.
"You awoken a power you cannot comprehend. I thank you for what you've done before. Now I shall end your foolishness and allow you to find peace. Without any of the pain." It raised its arm, and the boy disappeared.
He woke up in a small inn. What had happened? He could hardly remember. That's right, he needed to...! Do what again? It was like his whole heart was screaming one thing, but he couldn't hear it. The boy drifted back to sleep, his story over. And yet, he couldn't let it end that way. No. He heard someone's voice. He remembered what he should've forgotten. But he didn't have any power left. So all he did was call. Call to everywhere. Someone had to hear his plea. Some people must, right? Someone who right his mistakes. Not alone, like he was. But some people, he was sure, could realize and fix, what he realized too late. He put everything he had into this plea. 'Please, anybody who can help! Listen to my voice! I need help. The world needs help! Please, I need somebody to fix my mistakes. Please, I need someone to save this world! Please...'
The boy woke up again. Something still felt wrong. But he shook it off. And then he didn't feel anything at all. He was forgotten. So was his friend. But his plea, it was not.

Okay I admit it, I did skip at some points where the song I shuffled to didn't fit the time at all. But I still did this with the tone to music. Also yes, this did become a prequel to my roleplay at some point.
