So I'm a Digimon fan, strangely enough. And I like video games, specifically JRPGs. So when a Digimon JRPG popped up, I was like, all of the yes! And I bought it. Now I actually really liked it. So now I'm writing stories/fanfictions. Whee! Who cares if nobody but me knows what I'm writing about! I'm going to publish even so it cause there's no reason not to. I'm bored. So anyways, here is my fan written epilogue to Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Because I'm bored, did I say that yet? Oh yeah, spoilers, in case anybody is interested in the game.
Gap to avoid spoilers!

Kay had been alive again for about a day, maybe more. She'd spent most of time getting to be the new Kyoko's assistant officially. There seemed to be more paperwork for her this time. Maybe it was just because there was nothing for her to do. That was weird. The past few months, ever since her encounter with "Mr. Navit", have had little to no breaks. So getting to this new world, and seeing things so peaceful, was strange. The fact that there were no Digimon were even stranger. In fact, it seemed that EDEN was the only thing left that was fully digital. And there was no link to the digital world like before. It was all very strange. It would certainly take a while to get adjusted. Everything was different, except...
Kay looked at her body, it felt just like before. But since she woke up in Shinjuku, then, was she still half cyber. Only one way to find out! Although, that would be too obvious. Alright then, I need plan B. I guess, I'll see if I can find my real body still. To do that, I'd need to go to the Hospital. And get into the special ward. Who knows, maybe I'll see my friends too. Maybe there waiting for me all sad. Then I can brighten their day! Alright then, it's a plan. "Hey Kyoko, can I take a break. All this stuff has been tiring." Kay asked, not wanting to let this Kyoko know about what she was doing.
"You're lucky there isn't actually any detective work to do. You're getting off easy today, my assistant." Kyoko said.
"Um, I assume that means yes, so thanks!" Kay says, quickly walking out of the office. She heads off from Nakano to the central hospital. It looks the same as before. If there was one thing that didn't change with the whole parallel world thing, it was how everything looked. While, except for the whole no digital shifts and what not. But that was a good thing! Except it meant there was no Digimon. I hope you're all doing well, out in the digital world, Kay thought, hoping one day she might see all of her partners and friends she made during her period as a "cyber sleuth". She soon took the elevator up to the special ward of the hospital, but found herself blocked by the guards.
"Uh sorry, we only let family and registered personal into the special ward." The guard said.
Kay sighed, unsure of what to say,"Well, I'm friends with Yuuko and Yuugo. I bet if you asked them they'd let me in. And it'll only be for a like a minute tops. Come on..." She wondered if that would do anything for convincing them.
"Uh, we can't let anyone get through. It's just our job. Plus, you don't know how many people try to fake their way in every day." The guard said.
"Oh come on! Please..." Kay said. The only other option would be to attempt a connect jump. But if there aren't Digimon, it's doubtful she could find her way into a digital network. Plus, she still wasn't sure if she was in her real body or not. She wondered if there was anything she could do to get in.
"If you don't leave, we'll have to escort you out." The guard said rather sternly.
"No way is that going to happen to me!" Kay said, rather loudly,"I'm a detective, with the Kuremi Detective Agency! So I need to get in here for a case!" It was a lie, but the best thing Kay could use to get in.
Perhaps it was fate's guiding hand, or maybe just a lucky break, but a voice was heard from inside the Special Ward,"Is something going on out there?"
"Yuugo!? Is that you?" Kay asked,"Can you let me in here?"
The guard answered his question,"As you can here, some high school girl is trying to get inside without permission."
"Wait, that voice...? It couldn't be!" Another girl spoke.
"Yuuko! You're here too? Come on, it's me, Kay. Let me in!" Kay said, knowing that the guards would probably have to listen to them.
The doors to the special ward opened, and Yuugo and Yuuko ran out, looking slightly shocked.
"It really is you." Yuuko said, surprised.
"Huh? And yet you're body still has EDEN syndrome." Yuugo noted.
Kay ran into the room, quickly running towards the last bed on the left side. Lying there, still, was Kay Aiba, or at least her body.
"Hey, you can't..." The guards started to say.
"I'd like it if I could talk with my friend in private please." Yuuko told the guards,"She can come into the ward."
"I'm sorry about this unnoticed visit." Yuugo told the guards,"But she should be allowed in here, we just weren't expecting her again."
"Alright." The guard said,"At least I know I can trust you two." The guards took their leave of the room, leaving Kay, Yuuko, and Yuugo.
Kay was looking down, depressed over the fact she was still trapped out of her body,"I guess, I really will always be sleeping."
Yuugo walked up to her,"It's strange. You still appear to be the same half cyber form you were in the other timeline. And yet I'm back in my body, going through rehab."
"I mean, it's not like it really makes that much of a difference, does it?" Yuuko asked, concerned about her friend.
"This body is unstable. It always has been. Even without connect jumping, eventually I'll fall apart." Kay said,"And I don't have my Digimon to save me anymore." She had forgotten quite how depressing it was to see your own body in a coma.
"Don't worry. By the time your body starts to break down, I'll make sure you can go back! There's no way I'm going to ever let you disappear on me again!" Yuuko said,"Do you know how worried we all were?" She sounded a little bit mad.
"Um, no. I've only been awake for a day at most. How long has it been." Kay said, trying to think.
"A little more than a week." Yuugo said,"You worried all of us."
"If you've been awake for a day, why didn't you talk to us?" Yuuko asked.
"Oh, well, I got caught up with meeting Kyoko Kuremi all over again. Once again I am her assistant." Kay said,"Although, I don't know if I'll qualify as a "cyber sleuth" anymore. I mean, is cyber crime even a thing in this world?"
"If you're anything, it's a cyber sleuth! There's nobody else in the world as qualified as you." Another girl ran in and said.
"Nokia! You're here too? It's nice to see you." Kay said.
"Well, we heard from Yuugo that you showed up. And if you think we wouldn't come running, than you really are an idiot." Arata said, the young man following close behind Nokia.
"Maybe I shouldn't worry so much." Kay.
"Well, of course not." Yuuko said,"You know I can't handle you being sad and disappearing again!"
"I mean, what really happened back there?" Arata asked,"When you just broke apart."
Kay looked down,"I didn't want to. My data just collapsed. I'm lucky I lasted as long as I did. But then Kyoko, I mean Alphamon, and all of my partners showed up, and put me back together or something. So my half cyber body is now back in this world." Kay said,"I think."
"Don't worry. There's certainly a way to put you back in your real body. And if there isn't yet, we'll make one." Yuuko said.
"Well, of course we will." Arata added.
"After all, things will work out in the end!" Nokia smiled.
"Thanks everybody." Kay said, smiling again,"I can't believe I almost forgot what it was like to be around all of my friends. It really does feel like we can do anything."
"There we go." Yuugo said,"That's the Kay I remember.
"It may of took me a while, but I'm back. All of us are here." Kay said,"So in the end, we did all make it back together."
"You still scared me half to death." Nokia said,"But it's fine. There's no reason to yell at you now. I wasn't even sure if you would come back!"
"I think all of us had some doubts." Yuugo said.
"Heh. I knew you wouldn't die. If anyone can just come back to life, it's you." Arata said.
"Well, of course. You've done so much for all of us. It really is amazing." Yuuko said.
"Wow, thanks everyone." Kay said,"Anyways, how about we all do something now that we're all together."
"Like go eat at a cake shop?" Yuuko asked.
"Uh, Yuuko, are you that's a good idea?" Nokia said, knowing how much she eats.
"Well, I don't have any better ideas." Yuugo said.
"Sounds good." Arata said.
"Alright, it's decided." Yuuko said,"I'm off!" She walked off, excited for the food.
Yuugo quickly followed her,"Wait up, sis."
Nokia walked out after,"I'm not paying, I'm saying that now!"
It left only Arata and Kay in the room.
Arata looked at Kay,"Hey. Welcome home."
Kay smiled. Yeah, this was still the same kind of world, wasn't it? She was still with all her friends. It was great,"Yeah." Kay said, before running off,"Hey, don't get in the elevator without us!"

There, done! I don't feel like this was good, but it wasn't terrible either. But it probably doesn't matter either way, because it's unlikely anyone knows what's even going on. If I am still bored later, and still have no roleplays to do, another one of these might show up, so yeah.
