CHAPTER 19

*few weeks later*

Ashlyn's POV

"Cameron give my phone back." I laughed. "Never." He said pretending to do a hair flip. I laughed and tip toe to attempt to get my phone. After Cameron got off balance and I fell on top him. We both laughed, and Sierra came back with Taco Bell. "I got tacos!" Sierra announced. I tried to get up but Cameron wrapped his arms around me. "Hey let me go." I laughed. "Nope." Cameron said standing up with him carrying me. I wiggled out of his arms and ran to the table. Sierra laughed and handed me a taco.

When we finished eating Brent, Sierra's boyfriend came over, also Audrey came over. "Yay, I'm third wheeling." I said sarcastically. Cameron laughed, "Don't worry Ash." He said. "I'm gonna go out with Megan." I said grabbing my long board. "Okay, be safe." Sierra said. "I will." I said then walked out the door.

"Hey Nash, Hey Hayes." I greeted as I hoped on my board. "Where are you going?" Hayes asked. "To the mall with Megan." I answered. "Oh okay." Hayes answered, then headed to the mall.

Hayes's POV

There's something about Ashlyn I like. "Dork." Nash said snapping me out of thought. After Cameron opened the door, and let us in. "Hey Sierra, Hey Brent." Nash greeted. "Hey you two." She greeted back with a smile.

Cameron, Nash, and Audrey were talking about school, while I was texting Jordan.

J- hey bae

H- hi princess

J- can I tell you something?

H- what is it??

J- oh it's just lately you've been hanging w/ Ashlyn and haven't been hanging w/ me or my friends 😢

H- oh I'm sorry, promise to hang with you next week since its December 😘

J- Thanks bby love ya 😘

H- I love you too 😘

Ashlyn's POV

When Megan and I were at the mall, we walked into Game Stop. "Is that Jordan?" Meg asked. "Where?" I asked looking around. "Right there." Meg pointed towards the Xbox One games. "No way." I said.

Jordan and I haven't been on good terms ever since we met. She would said threats to me, saying, "stay away from Hayes or your high school year is ruined." or "I'll spread rumors about you." I would just listen to her and hang with Cam or just geek out with Meg. Only Megan knows about this information.

"Aww it's the boyfriend snatcher." Jordan sneered. "What do you want?" Meg asked. "Oh, just want to remind you." Jordan said giving me a death glare. I just looked away, and dragged Meg out of Game Stop. Meg sighed, "You need to tell the boys about this." She said looking at me. "Don't worry about. I can handle this." I said reassuring her.
