Ok, so the title of this chapter isn't an FVK lyric. Sue me. lt's from a song called lris, by The Goo Goo Dolls.

Drews POV:

The room was dark. My head was hurting a lot which surprised me, l hadn't realised that l would be able to feel pain in my current state. But where was Barronè? lt's obvious that a lot of time has passed since l was last solid, maybe he'd been moved elsewhere. I pushed myself up off of the ground on my way to go and search for him when l remembered my new...um ... ability. "l want to see Barronè." l thought and sure enough l found myself being dragged rapidly through the hospital. l was being pulled through walls and everything. WALLS!

l didn't have time to think much about it because l was being pulled by the strange unseen force strait out of the hospital and into the car park. Had he been sent home? l noticed our tour van parked under a tree, and was suddenly being pushed through the metal side and suddenly came to a stop.

My eyes took a moment to adjust to the dim light and when they do it takes me another few moments to spot Barronè huddled up against the wall. His hair had fallen forwards to cover his face; sticking to his wet skin in some places, his shoulders were shaking and he was making damp whimpering noises. Luke was sat next to him; eyes closed, head leaning back against the side of the van, legs laying flat across the floor taking up a large amount of the limited space. He was snoring lightly.

l moved to Barronès side and rested my hand on his shoulder he looked up surprised and smiled at him. He looked around the van slowly, bit his lip and blinked back tears. "Drew?" He whispered hesitantly and l nodded happily.

"Hi honey." l whispered and leant forwards to press a kiss to his cheek.

"Drew? Are you here?" Barronè asked hopelessly.

"l'm right here Barronè. l'll always be ri- Wait. you can't see me?" Barronè ignores me and goes back to crying into his knees.

What's happening? l think back to what Kurt told me: "You don't have a place in that world anymore." ls this what he meant? That l would be here, but invisible and silent...

Or maybe they'd put Barronè on medication th was effecting his ability to see me? That always seems to happen in movies...

Maybe he was so tiered that he couldn't concentrate enough to see me...

There were so many possible reasons, personally l was voting for the last option, but who knows? Maybe things will be better in the morning, maybe he'll never see me again...
