Jaken, slower then the rest, arrived to find them staring at the orb. "Wha-?" he huffed and then seeing the form of Sesshōmaru encased in the orb, sprung to attention. "L-Lord Sesshōmaru ?" he stammers in shock. He then whirls on Hāmonī. " What have you done with M'lord, you little-" his rants are cut short by a wop on the head by Hāmonī . Despite her initial glee at her brother's trap, the memory of the same trap, enclosing herself, came to mind...

Hāmonī's conscious floated in and out of dreams. Their was no sense of time or reality, just flickers of images, scenes. She watched herself play ball with Inuyasha, when they were younger. She saw her brother, sitting on the ground, talking to Kikyo. Then she saw Inuyasha, and arrow pinning him to a tree. She sighed. She knew then why she was here. Her bond with Inuyasha was such, if he died, or was imprisoned, she would suffer. They had Twin Destinies. What happened to one, hurt the other.

That didn't mean she wasn't extremely angry at herself. She hadn't even seen the demon that had attacked her and Minto. They trapped them in this orb, and she couldn't even find her friend.

She wanted to punch something. She wanted to scream. But their was nothing to punch. Sound had no meaning. Their was just the images, and her, floating endlessly...

A crack sent her wheeling toward the sound. What ever this was, it was breaking.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes. She was lying on the forest floor, bound. Minto lay next to her, out cold. She glanced up, and saw a tall, three eyed demon above her.

"Easy meat." it growled, its voice like rattling rocks. Hāmonī tugged at her bounds. No use. It would have to be cut by someone else. She needed a plan.

She smirked at the demon. "What? To weak to get your own food? Don't even think you can take a half-demon like me?"she mocked.

It roared, its voice echoing through the trees. "I AM ALL POWERFUL!" it roared "NO ONE CAN FACE ME AND LIVE!"

Hāmonī grinned. She knew just how to get him " Well I think your just a coward" she taunted "If I had my bonds off, I'd slice you in two."

It laughed, looking at her menacingly. " YOU COULDN'T TAKE ME!" he boomed " LET'S SEE HOW WEAK YOU REALLY ARE!" He sliced her bonds.

She leapt away, deftly landing on a tree branch. "Fiery claw!" she yelled, and fire spit from her claws, turning the demon into charred meat. She took a deep breath. " I didn't think that would work." she whispered to herself, then remembering Minto, sprinted over to him. Still out cold. There was one thing she could try...

"Water Slash," she muttered, soaking Minto with water. He sputtered and coughed, then slowly sat up.

"W-Where are we?" he meowed, shivering from the water. Hāmonī  looked at him solemnly.

"Not where. When."

She zoned back in, realizing that everyone was staring at her. Minto looking at her knowingly, said to Jaken "We didn't do it. Someone else did. We've..... experienced this kind of thing before. The person inside is frozen in time, but if you break the orb...." he paused.

Hāmonī continued softly "You yourself will lose time too. A few days maybe. A month. But a person inside one of those will stay in until someone breaks it. They could be in there for..." she paused, swallowing. "50 years."

This shocked them all  to silence. After a few minutes, Yuri questioned "You had to stay in there for 50 years? "

Hāmonī nodded.

Yuri paused "Well," she said slowly "Let's rescue him then."

Hāmonī whipped around to face her, her gold eyes furious. "What?" she exclaimed.

Yuri flinched, but continued "Do you want anyone to go through what you had to go through?"

Hāmonī sucked in a huge breath, like Yuri had hit her in the chest with a heavy rock. She flashed through the images, the endless waiting, the worry, the void that was that orb...

Hāmonī looked at the orb, and Sesshōmaru encased in it. She hated Sesshōmaru more than anyone, except maybe Inuyasha, could imagine. But Yuri's words kept echoing in her head. Do you want anyone to go through what you had to go through?

She shook her head. Not even Sesshōmaru deserved that kind of pain.

She looked at the group. "Fine," she said "Under one condition..." she paused. "Jaken can't come."

Minto and Yuri nodded immediately, but Jaken sputtered " But... I... You-"

"Ice slash." Hāmonī said coldly, and Jaken froze. It was bad enough getting pressured into rescuing Sesshōmaru without Jaken's annoying comments.

Minto hauled him far away, and then rejoined Yuri and Hāmonī. Hāmonī eyed the orb. She built up her courage, and slammed the orb with her fist.

And they were enveloped in blinding white light.
