Inuyasha's band, along with Hāmonī, sprinted to where Kagome said the shards were. The rest of Hāmonī's group stayed behind to protect their supplies It was a village, full of dead, mauled bodies of humans. Hāmonī and the others halted, staring at the scene. Inuyasha said, aghast "What is this?"
The little fox demon Shippo called out "Is anyone here?" There was no response. Wolf tracks covered the ground. Sango looked at them, saying "The work of a wolf pack?" "These are wolf tracks" Shippo replied.
"And many of them," Miroku mentioned "Could this be-"
"From the fragment Kagome sensed?" Hāmonī interrupted, a sinking feeling in her stomach. "I believe so."
"Demon have to be involved in this!" Inuyasha added.
Suddenly, wolves approached from behind some of the buildings. Hāmonī mentally cursed herself. She should have smelled them! Shippo jumped into Kagome's arms. "There!" he called pointing behind them "Man-eating wolves." Hāmonī whirled around and more of the man-eating wolves. She ground her teeth. They had been surrounded.

They all went back to back, hands on their weapons. Inuyasha held up his fist. "Let's have it out then! Without the pack, they're helpless." He tensed into a battle stance. "I'll get rid of you all!"
Before Hāmonī or anyone else could protest, he ran up to the wolves, swiping with his claws. A group of wolves charged him, and he yelled "IRON-REAVER, SOUL-STEALER!" slaying the whole group.
The remaining wolves retreated to a high ledge, and howled at the sky. "There're howling!" cried Shippo. "Calling their comrades," Hāmonī grumbled "Inuyasha I don't know what to think about this..."
Suddenly, Kagome's head snapped up. "I sense a jewel fragment coming closer," she said, sweat beading her face "And very fast!" Just then, a whirlwind appeared at the edge of the treeline, headed toward them. They all dug in their feet, trying not to be whipped away by the powerful winds.
Then the whirlwind slowed, and out came a man. No, not a man, Hāmonī thought. A demon. Hāmonī glanced around. Everyone was wearing the same shocked look as her.
The wolves surrounded the demon, barking and howling at him in their language. He looked around at them, then looked at us. "You..." he said, his voice young and sharp "Why did you kill my minions?" Hāmonī looked the demon up and down. His hair was oily black and long, pulled back. His eyes were sky blue. He was fit and well muscled. A tough opponent indeed...
Inuyasha's face tightened into a scowl. "So your their leader." he growled. The wolf demon just glared at him. "What of it?" he said insolently "You killed my dear wolves. I won't forgive you" Inuyasha clenched his fists "Shut up! You reek of human blood. How many have you killed?" The demon smirked "I just let them feed. Any complaints, you dog?"
Inuyasha reeled back "You call me dog!!" The demon folded his arms, unimpressed. "I hate the smell of dogs." he got into a fighting stance "It make me sick to my stomach!" Hāmonī stalked up to stand by Inuyasha. Inuyasha smirked "Well then, we'll split that belly in two... to let some air through!" Hāmonī and Inuyasha both leaped, Inuyasha bearing his sword, Hāmonī her knives. Koga dodged both our attacks, a punch smashing Hāmonī back into a rock, and then going after Inuyasha.
Hāmonī winced, trying to get up and failing. Miserably, she watched the showdown. Kagome had called out to Inuyasha "Watch out! He's using the power of the sacred jewel on his arm and both legs." The demon turned to look at Kagome out of the corner of his eye.
Inuyasha got up weakly "Why didn't you say so earlier," he said, struggling to his feet. "That explains why you're acting so cocky." The demon turned to face him again "Hah! Stop whining like a sick dog." "You have the power of the sacred jewel, and that't the limit to your power!" he retorted "What a laugh."
The demon was steaming "Shut up, mutt!" he yelled "Back off, you stray wolf!" Hāmonī shook her head. Men. So hotheaded. Sango looked like she remembered something "He's... one of the Wolf-Demon tribe!"
The demon replied, eyes fixed on Inuyasha "I'm the young leader of Yorozoku. Remember the name- Koga!"
Unfortunately, Hāmonī blacked out again, and when she woke up, it was well into the next day. She sat up, staring at the faces of her band. "Where's..." she said, trailing off as Minto answered. "Tracking the wolves." Hāmonī got up quickly, grabbed her knives, and said "I'm following them." Sniffing the air, she caught their scent, and raced after it.

Hello once again my Apprentices,
Yes, this is pretty much totally based off the episodes where Inuyasha and crew meets Koga. Probably going to be like this for the next couple of chapters.
And yes, I still have to do my 10k facts about me celebration. Inuyasha style face palm.
Finally, I am entering the just write it contest, which I will publish soon.
