Chapter 10

Noah's pov
It's the next day and hopefully Miss Kate won't cut me from A troupe. I walk into studio A and Kate comes up to me.
"I'm really sorry for being so hard on you yesterday." She says.
"It's ok." I say snd start warming up.
"Ok everyone let's start rehearsing now. From the top. Five, six, seven, eight go!" Kate says.
We start dancing and it looks really good.
"Ok guys take five and then come back." Kate says.
I walk out and Richelle follows me.
"Hey." She says.
"Hi." I say.
"What was up with you yesterday?" She asks.
"I don't know. I guess I just wasn't focused." I reply.
"Ok. Are you sure that you're ok?" She says.
"I'm sure." I say and she hugs me.

Richelle's pov
I don't think that Noah is ok. I also don't know what is up with him. He seems really nervous and anxious lately. I'm going to get to the bottom of this.

Noah's pov
Me and Richelle walk back into studio A everyone is staring at me.
"What?" I say.
Eldon walks up to me and slaps me.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"For trying to sabotage the team." James said.
"I don't follow."
"So you're going to play that game." Riley says.
I just look at them weirdly.
"West saw you in Kate's office stealing the regionals money."
"What?!" I say.
"I saw you." West says.
"How did you see me do something that I didn't do?" I yell.
"I saw you do it in that five minute break we just had." West says.
"That's impossible. Noah was with me." Richelle says.
"You're his girlfriend so of course you will defend him." Michelle says.
"Search his bag." Kate says and Eldon grabs his bag.
He then pulls out MY money.
"Here it is." Eldon says and gives it Kate. She puts it in the safe and comes back.
"What do you have to say for yourself?" Kate asks.
"That's my own money! You just took my money and put it towards regionals!" I yell.
"That is the regionals money." Kate says.
"Please. That's my own money that I worked hard for. My family is poor and you straight up just took most pf our money." I say and drop to the floor.
"I'm not falling for a stupid sob story about how poor you are." Kaye says.
"Kate please." I say. There is a crack in my voice because I'm about to cry.
Richelle hugs me.
"No. You're out of A troupe." Kate says.
I feel a tear drip down my face. I run out of studio A and don't look back.
I can hear Richelle shouting at them and I tears just stream down my face. They just took my money. My money. How is my family going to pay for anything? I knew that my parents shouldn't have given me that money to look after. Now The Next Step is using our money for the team to go to regionals. I am not even on the team anymore. What am I going to do?
