*Jax's POV*
The tension in this house was suffocating. Anytime Oliver would go into a room and see this Jackson person who I found out was his twin, well if you counted Olivia they were triplets in their family but I heard that Jackson and Oliver were almost the same person looks wise maybe not personality but I don't know Jackson at all so I wouldn't know. They avoided each other like the plague.
I didn't want to press for more information, I knew Oliver didn't want to talk about it so I let it be and tried supporting him as his best friend. He had this faraway/blank look anytime he would go into a room to find Jackson already in it. After a while he just went upstairs and never came back down.
It was lunch time and Oliver still didn't come back down as everyone else ate their food. Some members already went to their homes but the few or should I say the rest that stayed got to know other members even if it was awkward. I made a quick plate for Oliver knowing If I didn't force, well not force, but make him eat he wouldn't until he calmed down which wasn't going to be anytime soon.
I brought up a plate and a water bottle to his room. I knocked on the door but there was no reply, but I knew he was in there so I opened the door slowly. "Hey Oliver, lunch is ready but I brought you up a plate and some water," I said stepping into the room fully, not really prepared at all for what Oliver was doing.
Oliver was currently doing pushups with a thin coat of sweat on his, yes bare torso. His back was to me while he looked straight ahead. The muscles in his back were more defined each time he pushed down then up again. "Oliver? You should eat something and by the looks of it you probably need water, too," I said a little louder this time, hopefully my voice didn't sound weird or anything. He stopped for a second before pushing himself all the way up so he was standing and turned to face me.
He grabbed a towel that was hanging on the chair that he was in front of and wiped his face then put it over his shoulder. I kept my focus on the wall behind his head knowing I would shamelessly check him out and he would just know too and he can't.
I handed him the water first and I didn't know if it was just me but I think he purposefully brushed his hand over mind. Nah, it was an accident. He took a huge gulp from the water bottle, his Adam's apple bobbing with each swallow. Everything needs to stop being so damn sexual.
He smirked as if he knew what I was thinking and with Oliver he probably did and took the plate sitting on the edge of his bed, he patter the space next to him indicating I should sit with him.
I tried to sit as far as possible but close enough to avoid suspicion. He ate in silence as I just sat there staring at the wall. I looked over at him to find he was looking at me while chewing.
"How are the injuries holding up?" I broke the silence. He just shrugged continuing to chew.
"You're the soon to be doctor, why don't you tell me?" he teased.
"When you're finished eating I'll check the wounds. They probably will heal soon enough," I said not really noticing the wounds. I took a better look at them to see one of them bleeding slightly.
"I have to clean the wound again; the butterfly bandages didn't seem to stick which they should have," I said getting up to go to the bathroom that was just down the hall. I grabbed a small bin of water, two small towels and the first aid kit.
Oliver was in the same position he was in when I left which was good since I don't have to struggle to clean them. I put the bin with water near his feet and the first aid kit next to him on the bed. I worked in silence occasionally dipping one of the towels into the bin and lightly dabbed at his forehead and mouth where there was a small cut as well, I couldn't put a bandage there since the moisture from his mouth wouldn't allow it to stick.
