When I woke up that morning, I left my dull blonde hair straight, stared at my blue eyes, and decided to do my makeup to make them pop. I put on a black and white high waisted skirt, and tucked In a white t shirt with a black and white Aztec pocket. After eating my Dailey cereal bowl, I put on some sandals and went outside to get in the bus.
Before I could leave though, my dad stopped me. He winked and gave me a wrapped box. How could I have forgotten? Today was my 13th birthday!!!! I smiled and hugged him. I ran outside and hopped onto the bus next to Jenna.
I told her it was my birthday, and opened the box. It was a rose gold iPhone 6s!!!! I was so happy!!! I gave Jenna my phone number and she gave me hers. When we got to school, I exchanged numbers with Liz too.
I had decided that I wouldn't focus on Jacob that day, and it worked out until PE. He was talking to his friend, Peyton, and Peyton kept laughing and looking at me. Jacob was blushing, and I decided to go ahead and run into the locker room. "What was that all about?" Liz asked. "Huh?" I replied. " the Jacob blushing, and Peyton looking at you and stuff?" She said. "Oh. Idk. Not my issue." I told her. "Mmmmhhhmmm" she said while laughing.
As I left the locker room, I checked the mirror and started the daily exercises. Coach Watson decided to move me. Right next to Peyton. It was fine with me. He was really funny. He kept asking my about Jacob though. I kind of just shrugged my shoulders about it.
I went the rest of the day without interruption, and Jacob kept asking me questions in math. He seemed desperately confused. I helped him and on the bus Jenna and I took a selfie on my new phone. As soon as I got home Jenna texted me.

Me: hi!
Jenna💗💗: so... Liz told me you were flirting with Peyton today in PE...
Me: ummm ew!😂
Jenna💗💗:😂😂
Jenna💗💗: well anyways, just wanted to let you know that if you were flirting with him, don't please. Bc well...
Me: what!!! Why!?!
