Unplanned pool party

       When I woke up I got to the point where I didn't even care anymore.i didn't put on makeup, and wore joggers and a crop top that literally said I don't care. I got on the bus and sat next to Jenna questioningly.
       She looked upset. I knew that whatever she was about to tell me about Liz was important. She whispered," Liz hates you. She said she has since the first day you were here. She could tell that Jacob had a thing for you and was jealous because she's liked him ever since she moved here. She decided that if she turned you against me, Peyton would side with her, along with Peyton, and then she could have a chance with him." "Oh," was all I could say. I was already crying because I had always thought Liz was my friend. I guess not though.
         I got on Instagram, and saw her commenting on the selfie i posted the night before. "...slut..." It said underneath in the comment. "Eww wt#" it also said. By then I had lost it and started crying. Jenna comforted me saying stuff like it'll be fine, and I'm so sorry. By then, Jacob saw what was going on and pulled me from next to Jenna and onto the seat next to him and laid my head on his lap and He said, " for someone who has a shirt that says 'I don't care,' you sure do seem to care a lot about whatever you're crying about." I started laughing immediately. I told him what happened. He looked like he really cared about me.
         For the rest of the bus ride I just laid there with my head on his lap, and decided to put makeup on once I got to school, which I did. As Jenna and I walked into English, she stopped me. "What do we do about Liz??" She asked. "Saige and Paige," I said. "The popular twins?!" She gasped. "Yeah," I said," they became my really good friends with them while you were mad at me..." "Oh yeah..." She replied. We both laughed and walked into English, and straight past Liz still laughing.
               We completely ignored Liz the rest of the day, and saige and Paige welcomed Jenna into our now "squad." We decided to have a sleepover with the four of us on Friday night.
           That day in math things seemed to be much more romantic in between Jacob and I. Since it was October, and my pool was about to close down for the winter, I decided to ask Jacob if he wanted to swim after I tutored him. He started laughing. "What's so funny?" I asked him. "Well... I'm actually amazing when it comes to math," he said, " I was just pretending to get closer to you." I blushed, then replied," just like mean girls!" He laughed and then said, "yeah... Just like mean girls."
       During that bus ride home, Jenna and I discussed sleepover plans, and it turns out were now having a party. Good thing my dad was out of town!!
          That night I texted Jacob.

Me: heyyyyy
Jacob😍❤️: Heyyy boo😜

To myself: omg did he just call me boo!?!!

Me: so... You still want to come over to swim???
Jacob: of course!
Me: ok see you in a few.
Jacob: I'm leaving rn!

I ran down stairs and around the house making sure dad was still at work and found a note on the kitchen stove. It read:

Hey it's dad! Just wanted to let you know that the Astro physicists need me at  the NASA unit in Texas. I got a lot of food and I'll be back Monday!

Let's see... It's Wednesday so I have 1...2..3.... 5! Days to myself!! Perfect! I ran back upstairs and put on my strapless bikini.

DING! DONG!

Oh crap he's here! I thought. I threw on a cover up and ran downstairs to open the door. He looked soo cute with his shirt off and towel draped over his shoulder.
      I opened the door and let him in. "Hi!" He said while staring into my eyes. "Hi." I responded. I let him in and led the way through my house and into my backyard. I set my towel down on one of the lawn chairs, and turned around to see him do the same. He walked to the edge of the pool and faced towards me, and I stood there for a moment than checked my phone clock. It was 3:09. I turned towards him and jump-tackled him into the pool.
I squealed as we sunk to the bottom of the pool, me still gripping his sides😂 when we hit the bottom, he got loose of me and I couldn't find him! I grabbed around until I heard a swoosh a few feet away. I swam toward the sound that came from the shallow end. Once I could stand, I stood up and ran through the three foot deep water. Jacob was sitting on the first step so I went towards him. I sat down next to him, and he reached for my hand.
I let him grab hold of it and he leaned towards my face. As his lips were less than an inch away from mine, I pulled away smiling. He looked disappointed at first, but understood that I wasn't gonna let him kiss me just like that. I said," catch me if you can!" While running to the diving board. Just before he could get to me, I jumped off the edge, and into the water. I let myself sink to the bottom, and heard a splash from above. I looked around and couldn't find him.
Suddenly, a pair of hands wrapped around my waist from the back. I turned around to face him, us both sitting at the bottom of the pool, me on his lap facing him. I giggled and tried to squirm away, but his grip held me in position. Before I could do anything else, he kissed me, and then it went dark.
