(Abbie's pov again)

Jacob, Peyton and I sat in the waiting room, the three of us holding hands so tightly that out me knuckles were turning white. Realized Peyton was anxiously tapping his foot, and I looked at him. He tightly had his jaw closed as well. I let go of his hand and told him to calm down, and that she was going to be ok.
I then turned to Jacob and sheepishly smiled. He smiled back and kissed me on the cheek. I loved him. I suddenly snapped back to the reality of what happened and started crying. My best friend was going to die. I thought, then quickly added to the thought, be more optimistic!!! The doctor came into the waiting room with a glum look on his face. Uh oh... "Peyton put his head on his lap and loudly sobbed.
The doctor presses her lips together and sadly said, "I'm sorry, but your friend passed two minutes ago during operation." By then we had all lost it, and Jenna's parents ran in. They saw us and began to sob as well, already knowing what happened.
That night, I told dad that I was staying the night at Jacob's , and by then he didn't really care about his boy rule, hearing about what had happened. We walked over to his house and went into his room. He gave me a green and Red Aztec hoodie, and some sweatpants. I went into his bathroom, changed, went back into his room and collapsed in the bean bag chair.
He purposely fell backwards next to me in the beanbag chair, and turned on the tv. He changed it to Netflix and picked out a movie I can't remember the name of. I was too busy grieving to watch the movie, and instead cried myself to sleep in Jacobs arms thinking,

My best friend died.
