Tutoring

I could tell that today is going to be exciting. With me now knowing Jenna secret, I was going to try to use it against her. I mean not  deviously, but in a kidding sort of way.
I decided to do my normal make up, curl my hair and wear skinny jeans with my NASA sweatshirt. I always loved the sweatshirt. It was my favorite one by far. Ever since dad brought it home from work the day mom died I loved it.
Anyways, I hopped on the bus, and sat next to Jenna  with A huge smirk  on my face.
She giggled playfully and put a finger over her mouth gesturing for me to shut up. I laughed and looked around the bus. Never before had I realized Jacob was on our bus. I gasped. He heard me and shot a look my way but I turned back around in my seat before he could see me. Jenna laughed at me and my cheeks turned tomato red. I stayed in complete silence until we got to school.
In English Jenna told Liz about what happened on the bus. Liz kinda smirked. But didn't laugh. I was sure she would've found that funny. In science I sat next to Peyton so we became friends. We exchanged phone numbers, and he helped me get a snapchat account. He also tried to Jacob'sphone number, but I wouldn't take it from him.
S.s was unimportant, so I'll get to PE. We were doing some weird thing that required partners. I chose Liz, but there was "too much talking," so coach Watson assigned new partners. Boy-Girl partners. Liz was with Peyton, and she whispered to me that she was going to help Jenna. I laughed. Then slowly more and more people became partnered up until it was just Jacob and I. We were partners!!! I was so excited, but I couldn't blow it. I just acted like it didn't matter.
I casually walked over to him and took a deep breath. "Hi. I'm Abbie," I said calmly," I guess we're partners now." He laughed and said, " I'm Jacob." He was staring at me with a blank expression. "You helped me in math." He said dumbfoundedly. "Yeah I did." Was my reply. We spent the rest of the class counting each other's push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups etc. and I was happy to get to the class I actually understood. Band.
Liz and I walked together and she told me about all the amazing things she told Peyton about Jenna, then she started to tease me about Jacob. All I could do was deny the fact that I love him. Wait... did I just... "I. I. Love Jacob!! And it wasn't just his looks or the fact that he was famous. I actually love him." I accidentally said it all out loud. "Crap." I added on. Liz gasped, then started hysterically laughing. My face turned red. As we entered the band room I shot to the piano and sat down as quickly as possible. It was extremely hard to focus that day. I kept playing wrong notes, which I never did. I was completely out of focus, which I never was. What was this boy doing to me? I was in a huge daze the rest of the class, and was happy to be done with it. Liz didn't walk with me after class that day.
I stopped by my locker on the way to math, and saw something. Jenna was crying in the middle of the hallway. Her flower crown was smashed on the ground next to her and her hair looked awful. I ran over to her and asked what was wrong. She gave me an evil glare, pulled herself together and ran down the hallway. I was confused, but I decided to go ahead and go to math and not worry about it for the moment.
In math Jacob continued to struggle, and I continued to use my A-honor roll skills to help him. Finally it got so bad for him that I did the unthinkable. "Jacob," I started, " do you want me to tutor you?" His face lit up and he looked at me with his beautiful face smiling. " I would love that," he said. He scribbled something on a piece of paper and handed it to me. It was his phone number. I smiled and once class was over he walked with me to the bus. He sat across the aisle from me and we continued to talk. He showed me where he lived, and it was four houses down from where I lived I was so excited! As soon as I got home, I fell asleep.
