Jenna's Birthday

           I woke up Saturday morning and I already had a cute snapchat from Jacob. Good morning sunshine ;) it said. Awwww he's so cute. I went downstairs and saw my dad crying. I knew it was about mom. He was still sad about the accident. I ran into the kitchen hugging him, also breaking into tears. We had our moment, the he looked up and said," I miss her so much. Every time I look at you I see her." "I miss her too," I responded in sobs.
We sat there hugging for the next few minutes and once it was over, we went back to our normal routines like it never happened. I ate some cereal, then texted Peyton.

Me: hey yo! So what's the party deal?
Peyton🚀☄: come to the lake at 5, but the party starts at six. I already told Jacob so don't worry.
Me: ok see ya then.

It was already three since I woke up late, so I went upstairs and showered, curled my hair, did my normal makeup, and put on my vans, leggings, and red sweater. By the time I was done it was 4:30, so I went ahead and ran down to the lake. Once I got there, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Jenna.

Jenna💗💗: Heyyy guess what day it is ;)
Me: I already know it's Dec. 14 you don't have to tell me.
Jenna💗💗: well you know it's a special day right???
Me: yeah it's Saturday.
Jenna💗💗: and that means...
Me: that you need to get yourself down to the lake so we can watch the sun set Bc your my best friend at 6.
Jenna💗💗: ok :(

"Peyton I told her to meet me here at six!" I shouted as he hung streamers. "Ok!" He responded,"go place the balloons!" As I was almost done putting all of the balloons out, Jacob showed up. I finished the last balloon and ran to hug him. "Heyyyy!" I said. " you have a tight grip," Jacob replied while laughing. I laughed back and we set up the snack table while Peyton finished everything else.
By the time it was six, Saige, Paige, Jaxon, and Leo had all showed up. Jenna came shortly after, and we all shouted," SURPRISE!!!" she gasped, and ran and hugged me. "Thank you soooo much!" She screamed. "It's not me you need to thank," I said,"it's Peyton." When I turned back towards Peyton, he had red blossoms of red spreading on his cheeks. Jenna smiled, ran straight up to him and kissed him right on the mouth. The stayed there for a full 15 seconds, and then we all applauded. By then they both had big goofy smiles on.
I shouted," date already!!" And then Peyton walked over to the table, grabbed a box and handed it to Jenna. She opened it and it was a beautiful pair of earrings and a note that said, here's a new set of shine, so will you be mine? She laughed and nodded yes while hugging him. What a great gift. I thought.
The rest of the night, we partied and danced, and ate food, and over all had a great time. That night, I stayed at Jacob's house.
When I got to his house, I realized I didn't have anything to wear, and he handed me a big grey lacrosse sweatshirt that said sartorius 37 on the back of it. It was big, but comfortable.
We watched a movie in his room, and I asked," remember that game we played were you pointed at stuff and I told you about it?" He responded," yeah. Do you want to play the pointing game again?" He laughed. "Sure." I told him while getting up from his bed. I looked around the room and there was a vine poster on the wall. I pointed at it. "I have 500,000 followers on vine. I'm sort of well... Famous." He said. "WHAT?" I screamed, "you never told me anything about this!!! I normal Abbie have a FAMOUS BF!!" I was hysterically laughing by then and he just had this stupid grin on his face. "What?" I asked him. "Your so cute when your laughing." He said. I emailed them looked around the room to find something else to point at.
I saw a guitar. Bingo. My hand gestures towards it and Jacob said," I'm guessing you want me to play something for you..." "Yep!!" I said. He sighed and picked it up. And started playing a familiar tune. I'm yours. He was an awful singer, but it was still sweet. Oh I ... Won't... Hesitate no more... No more. This can. Not. Wait. I'm suuuuuure... I laughed and blushed as he sang me the song and once he was done I pointed to his lacrosse stick. "I play lacrosse," he said," it's as simple as that." I laughed, then I sat back on his bed and he put his arm around me and we watched another movie. Slowly, I drifted off to sleep in Jacobs arms.
