"Babe I'm home!" Patrick called, as he walked into the house.
"Hey 'Trick, welco- is that five hat boxes?" I asked and pointed toward the boxes he carried into the house with him.
"Yup!" He chirped happily, and smiled at me. 'He has way too many fedoras' I thought to myself. "What do you mean I have too many fedoras?" He asked dropping the boxes on the wooden floor.
"Oh shit, I said that out loud." I said, and Patrick nodded. I covered my moth with my hands for a few moments, before releasing them to my sides. "Patrick... You have way too many fedoras, you have at least 100." I said making my way over to him, carefully avoiding the hat boxes, and fedoras that littered the floor.
"No I don't!" He whined, stomping his foot like a child about to throw a tantrum.
"Patty, you have an entire closet of them, and you only wear the same stupid one." I said calmly putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Don't you dare talk about Winston like that!" He cried out taking the fedora off his head and hugging it to his chest protectively.
"Patty answer me this, do you really need a closet full of fedoras?" I asked him in a quite calming matter.
"No" He whispered, looking down at his feet, and dropping 'Winston' on the wooden floor with the other fedoras.
"How about we donate them to people? You can keep some, just not all of them." I suggested, lightly grabbing his chin and tilting his face up to look at mine.
"Can I keep Winston?" He asked timidly, giving me a big pair of puppy eyes.
"Yes you can keep Winston" I giggled, and gave him a peck on the lips.
