You were sleeping peacefully when all of the sudden your bedroom door bursted open. You flew up to a sitting to only realise it was your husband Patrick.
"HAPPY MOTHERS DAY" Patrick yelled carrying a small tray with homemade pancakes, a cup of tea, orange slices, and a single rose in a skinny clear vase.
"PATRICK YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!" You yelled back, your hand over your heart trying to feel if your heart beat was still there.
"I didn't mean to," He said quietly look down at his feet. "I just made you breakfast for Mother's Day."
"Thank you babe, sorry I yelled." You smiled to him and patted the spot on the bed next to you signalling he should sit next to you. A huge smile grew on his face as he pulled back the covers and snuggled back into bed with you. He placed the tray of food on your lap and smiled proudly. "So what do we have here Pattycakes?" You asked looking down at the tray of food on your lap.
"Well, we have, chocolate chip pancakes. An orange, sliced the way you like it. Tea, with milk, and 3 scoops of sugar. And a pretty rose to match with your beauty, not that it could ever compare to yours." He explained pointing to each thing on the tray as he said at it. The last thing made you smile and kiss him.
The rest of the morning you spent being fed your chocolate chip pancakes by Patrick and you feeding him some, and cuddling with him watching your favorite movies.
"Hey Patrick?" You ask looking up at him. After you and Patrick finished the food, the small wooden tray was discarded to the ground next to the bed propped up against the wall. The rose in the vase was moved to nightstand next to your lamp, as well as the dirty dishes piled up next to it as well. You had laid back down along with Patrick, cuddling with him watching movies.
"Yeah babe?" He a answered looking down at you wrapped in his loving arms.
"I'm not even a mom, and I won't be for another 2 months." You told him pointing towards your swollen stomach that contained your unborn child.
"Shhh let's just enjoy Mother's Day" He chuckled nuzzling his head on of yours.

I spent today, not with my mom.
I was at my dad's and I decided to be apart of the sausage takeover on Quotev and go for a hike, I got hurt a lot....
But this was longer than expected
