"ANDY SOMETHING HAPPENED!" You yelled to your boyfriend of 5 years. This was the only way to get him to actually come.
"(Y/N) WHAT HAPPENED?" Andy came bursting into the kitchen at full speed yelling, only to see you... holding a tray of brownies.
"Brownies happened!" You said innocently tilting your head to the side smiling at him. Andy's hand flew to his face and sighed.
"I told you to stop alarming me over nothing," He sighed clearly annoyed. "I'm vegan and brownies have eggs in them, so I can't" He started to walk away but you were quick to scurry in front of him, not allowing him to leave.
"But these don't have eggs in them!" You exclaimed making Andy raise one of his eyebrows at you and the tray of baked goods suspiciously. "I looked up online and found a recipe that replaces eggs with black beans. It's vegan and healthy!" You said happily holding the tray up to him.
"That sounds disgusting." Andy replied looking at the brownies again suspiciously. They came out flatter than usual brownies, without the eggs they weren't fluffy or that thick.
"Just try one goddammit!" You told him. you picked up a piece of brownie and shoving a brownie in his mouth. Even though it had black beans instead of eggs, it still tasted like a brownie. A really good brownie.
"Holy shit these are good" Andy exclaimed happily grabbing another from the tray and taking a bite from it. You stood there smiling smugly at you success, then you remembered what you had to tell him.
"Happy birthday Andy!" You said placing the tray on the marble countertop and lunging forward to pull your boyfriend into a hug.
"It's so weird to think I'm thirty five already" Andy told you truthfully and wrapped his arms around your waist, returning your hug.
"Thrifty five and counting!"

That's not okay
But the recipe for black bean brownies is real. We made them in cooking club once. And even though they sound disgusting, trust me I thought so to when I heard of them, they're actually really good. You use regular brownie mix with a can of black beans, water, and chocolate chips and they taste just like brownies. They just come out a lot flatter but yeah they're good I swear
And I started another book "Everything Wrong With Fanfiction" it's really just an excuse to rant tbfh
