"AJ" Atticus' head lifted up from Niall's shoulder and searched for the only person who calls him that nickname "over here buddy" Jason said from the table we were making our way over to. Atty's head turned to Jason. A grin immediately made it's way onto the little boy's face as he squirmed in Niall's arms, wanting down. Niall chuckled and placed the toddler down on the ground who immediately ran over to Jason who had gotten out of his seat and knelt down on the floor.

I smile as I watch as Atticus ran into my older brother's arms, since they were a little busy with their reunion, Niall and I decided to just take a seat at the table where there were already menus placed. Jason soon sat back down with the little boy in his arms. "like the surprise Atty?" I ask and he nodded his head with a grin on his face. After a little bit a waitress walked over and luckily she was an older women so she probably wouldn't of recognized Niall. "Hi, my name is Annie and i will be your waitress for the night. Would you like to start off with drinks or would you like to order your meals?" Annie asked looking around at us with a sweet old smile on her face.

"I think we'll just start with drinks" Niall replied after he got confirmation from us all. "okay, what would you all like?" Annie asked getting her note pad ready. "I'll have a coke" I say "same" Jason replied along with Niall "and just apple juice for the little one" Jason said knowing i was going to order Atticus a apple juice. "Your drinks will be out soon" Annie said before walking away. "So AJ, have you been good for mummy and daddy?" Jason asked the young boy in his arms "yeah i been real good"

We all chuckled at the young boy who was clearly telling a lie. "that's not what mummy says" Atticus turned to me and pouted "you lie" I chuckle at my baby and roll my eyes at him. "here are your drinks" Annie said as she placed all our drinks on the table. "thank you" we all say before she walked off. "mm this looks like my drink, don't you think AJ?" Jason asked as he picked up the plastic kids cup that was filled with apple juice. "no that mine" Atticus said as he tried to get the cup from his uncle. "oh okay, i guess you can have it" Jason said giving the cup to the boy making me smile.

"ready to go?" Niall asked glancing around at us all, we had finished eating a while ago and have just sat here talking which was really nice. "yeah, I have work in the morning" Jason said as he collected his things. After we collected everything we all made our way to the exit. "Niall" I say in shock as I notice the group of people outside the doors with their expensive cameras.

"shit" Niall said as he pulled out his phone and called someone "what's going on?" Jason asked as he lifted Atticus into his arms "it's the paparazzi" I say as Niall began talking fast into the phone before putting it back into his pocket. "hey shh baby" I coo at Atticus who began to cry seeing as he was tired. I take the little boy from Jason's arms and he instantly cuddled into my chest. I kiss his head before turning to Niall.

"I have some bodyguards on there way" I nod and bounce Atty a little to settle him down. We waited inside for a few minuets before I heard a commotion outside the restaurant. I look outside to see the bodyguards had showed up and was controlling the crowd. "pass Atty" Niall said, I nod and pass him the boy who had settled down and was sucking on his thumb.

"alright lets go" a bodyguard said as he stepped inside, Jason put a hand on my back as we began walking out of the building, The paparazzi instantly began snapping photos and the flash was blinding. I watch as Atticus put his head up in surprise and looked over at the crowd who snapped some more photos of him. A moment later Niall pushed Atty's head into his neck as we were lead over to our cars. "i'll call you tomorrow baby girl" I nod and give Jason a hug before he jogged over to his car and climbed in.

Once Atticus was buckled into his car seat Niall and I got into the car before driving away from the restaurant "they definitely got a picture of his face" Niall said as he punched the steering wheel. "it's okay Niall" I say as i reach over and take hold of his hand "it's okay" I say, I feel him relax and squeeze my hand "i'm so sorry Charlie, I didn't think they'd be there" Niall said as he gave me a guilty look "it's okay Niall, it was going to happen sometime" I say as I squeeze his hand back.

I hear him sigh and from then on the drive home was silent, not even the radio was on and Atticus had fallen asleep so we didn't even have him talking. "i'll get him, you go inside" Niall said as he pulled into the driveway, I nod my head and climb out of the car. I walk up to the front door where i unlocked it before walking inside. I keep the door open for Niall who stepped through a second later before I shut and locked the door.

"Atticus James" I hear Niall scold from the living room where he was supervising the boy while i sat in the kitchen drinking coffee. I sigh and get off the stool leaving the cup on the counter before walking out of the kitchen to see Niall was placing Atticus down on the ground in front of his toys. "what did he do?" I ask "he tried putting his finger in the socket" Niall said pointing to power point on the wall.

After scolding Atticus I walked back into the kitchen and got my coffee before walking back into the living room. I take a seat on the couch and bring my legs up to my chest. "I have to go meet with some people regarding last night" Niall said as he sat down on the couch "I was going to meet up with Jason" I say "I'll take Atty with me then" Niall said and the boy looked up at the mention of his name. "what?" he asked thinking he had done something wrong.

"nothing baby" He nodded and looked back down and continued playing, I smile before taking a sip of my coffee. "I'll go get him ready" Niall said after a few minuets, I nod my head and watch as he got off the couch and picked the young boy up off the floor and carried him upstairs. The whole time Atticus was carried up the stairs i could hear him whining about wanting to play. I soon finish my coffee and carry the empty cup into the kitchen where I rinsed it out before making Atticus a bottle of milk. "mine?" I hear Atticus ask, I turn to see Niall had finished getting himself and Atticus

"yeah it's yours baby" I say passing him the blue bottle before putting the milk back in the fridge "you look cute baby" I say as I pull my phone out from my jumper pocket and snap a photo of the boy before pocketing the phone. "We'll be home later tonight, I'll get him some dinner while we are out" Niall said, I nod and kiss Atty's forehead "you be good for daddy" he nodded and gave me a little wave as he continued to drink from his bottle.

I smile and say goodbye to Niall who picked up Atty and carried him out of the kitchen, a minuet later I heard the front door open, followed by it closing. I take a seat at the counter and pull my phone out as I feel it buzz, I open the text from Jason who said he'd be over soon. I groan and walk upstairs to my bedroom where I took a quick shower and got ready for the day.

*Niall's POV*

"Atty baby" I say turning in my seat so I could see him once I parked the car "yeah?" He asked looking away from the window to look at me. "can you be a big boy for daddy today?" I ask, he nodded as he put the blue pacifier back into his mouth. I smile and collect my things before climbing out of the car. "Niall!" I hear someone shout, I turn to see three men standing there with their cameras and microphones. I curse silently and shut my door before opening the back door slightly.

I quickly unbuckle Atticus and lift him out of his seat and placed him on my hip, I grab his little back before shutting the door, I locked the car before rushing past the men and into the building. Once we were safely inside and away from the doors I placed Atty down on the ground and checked him over, to see if he was injured in anyway, but he wasn't so I stood back up and took hold of the young boy's hand and lead him into the elevator.
