Niall's secret child

32 weeks

I walk over to the car with Niall right behind me with his hand on my back in case I was to fall back. Niall and I had just finished a check up with the doctor seeing as we only have few more weeks until our baby is due for arrival. The due date is December 15th so we still had about two months until I was due but it feels like I'm going to drop any second now. I can already tell that this baby is going to be bigger than Atticus was when he was born because he was tiny and I certainly didn't feel this heavy when I was pregnant with him.

We didn't have an ultrasound today because there have been no complications so far so the doctor didn't need to check how everything was going. The meeting pretty much consisted of us planning for when the baby decides to grace us with it's presence. I've been getting pretty nervous the last few days because I'm so close to meeting my baby and I don't want anything to go wrong. "you good?" Niall questions once I buckled myself in, I nod my head and give him a small smile before pulling my phone out from my bag and sent Taylor a text saying the baby was still fine before putting my phone away.

"Are you hungry?" Nial questions me and I nod my head "Can we get McDonald's?" I question as i feel the need to eat greasy food. Niall nods his head and starts the car before driving to the closet McDonald's. When we arrived Niall joined the line for drive through before turning to me. "What did you want?" I look at the menu boards that are put up in the drive through lane.

I tell Niall what I wanted and he nodded his head before driving forward a little bit when the car in front of us moved up. We soon reach the service window and Niall ordered for us two and also something for Atticus since it was nearly 3pm which meant we were heading there as soon as we got our food. Niall paid for the food before he drove up to the next window where we waited for our food.

"Excited?" Niall questions me and I nod my head "Yeah, i can't wait to feel light again" He chuckles and places his hand on my thigh giving it a little squeeze before putting his window down seeing as the McDonald's worker had opened up their window with our food and drinks. I take hold of the food bags when Niall passed them to me and place them down on the ground at my feet as he gets the drinks.

I take them from him as well and put the three drinks in the cup holders and ditch their cardboard cup holder on the ground before picking up my large sprite and take a sip through the straw as Niall drives out of the drive way and heads to Atticus' daycare. About ten minuets later Niall pulls into the parking lot of the day care and parks his car in the first available parking spot before taking his seat belt off.

"I'll go get him" I nod and thank Niall as he gets out of the car and rushes over to the front door seeing as it was raining a little bit. I smile before lifting up one of the food bags and search through them until I reach my chips and pull them out and began munching on them as I waited for Niall and our boy. A few minuets later Niall rushed out of the daycare with Atticus in his arms guarding him from the rain as he rushes over to our car.

Niall buckles Atticus into the back seat before climbing into the drivers seat. "bit wet out there?" I question Niall with a chuckle "Yeah" he responded as he shakes his wet hair everywhere. "Ew" I squeal as I push his head away from me making him chuckle. He stopped so I turn in my chair a little bit to see Atticus had paint on his face, it wasn't much there were just some small splotches.

"hi baby" I greet him "hi mumma, we played with paint today" Atticus informs me "really? did you have fun?" the young child nods his head with a giggle. "Are you hungry?" I question him and he nods so I dig through the bags before pulling out his happy meal and pass it back to him, his car seat had a cup holder so I put his drink in there. "thank you mumma" I smile before turning back around in my chair as Niall began driving away from the day care and probably to our house.

I put the rest of my chips back in the bag because I didn't feel like eating anymore at the moment and pick my drink up instead and have some more of that before putting it back in the cup holder. We soon arrive at home and Niall parks the car in the garage right beside mine before turning the car off. I unbuckle myself and climb out of the car before grabbing our food and drinks before shutting the car door. Niall was getting Atty out of the car so I turn and walk into the house and into the kitchen.

I place the food and drinks on the counter before taking a seat. I pull my food out of the bags and began eating as Niall walks in with Atticus on his hip. I smile at the both of them as Niall places Atty down in the high chair letting him resume eating his food before Niall also sat down and began eating his own food. The whole time we didn't speak to each other we just ate our food in silence.

"Is that right?" Niall questions as he turns his head to look at me. Atty and I both shrug our shoulders making him sigh. We were all out in the garage where Niall was trying to install the infant car seat while Atty and I sat on the chair that was out here, Atty was sat on my lap as he laughed at his daddy. Niall had decided to not read the instructions saying he could do it without them but it seems like he can't. Sure we've had an infant before but we had friends or family install the car seat for us.

"Okay I think I've got it" Niall tells us after about five minuets "you sure?" I question and Niall turns to me with a frustrated look on his face. "no" I let out a laugh making him groan. "Hey you're the one who thought you wouldn't need the instructions" I point out and he groaned again before walking over to the box that the car seat came in and searched for the instructions before reading over them.

"okay it's wrong" Niall sighs before walking back over to the car and started installing the car seat the correct way. Niall soon had the car seat set up correctly and he was very happy about it. "Do I get a kiss now?" Niall questions as he walks over to us. "yeah!" Atticus tells his daddy excitedly as he puckers his lips. I smile and motion to Niall to give our son a kiss. Niall chuckles at me and leans down before kissing our son.

"Is mummy going to kiss me too?" Niall questions Atty who turns to look at me "Kiss dada" I let out a laugh before giving Niall a kiss on the lips. "thank you" I chuckle and shake my head at him "C'mon let's go back in" I nod and pass him our boy before standing up from the chair and follow behind the two into the house. I pull the door shut behind myself. Now we've got the car seat set up we just need to wait for the baby to occupy it.
