Niall's secret child

"Babe" I look up to see Niall was looking at me from the bed where he was laying on the other bed cuddled up with Atticus while watching a movie on the laptop. "yeah?" I question from the kitchen where I was getting myself a cup of water. "Do you want to drive to Santa Cruz?" I raise an eyebrow at him to question him. "why?" I ask him "Because I've always wanted to check the boardwalk" I chuckle at him before nodding my head. "Sure" he grinned before turning back to Atticus because he called for his daddy. I look at the time on my phone that was on the counter to see it was 12pm.

We hadn't really done much today except for go out in the morning for some breakfast and a little sight seeing before coming back to the hotel and this is where we are now. "When did you want to leave?" I question as I rinse my cup out and place it on the sink. "In twenty?" I nod my head and walk over to the suitcases and grab out an outfit for myself and Atticus. I lay Atty's clothes down on the bed before walking into the bathroom and got myself ready before walking out to see Niall was getting Atty ready.

I smile and walk around the room collecting a few things that we'd need before putting them in Atty's backpack. By the time everything was packed Niall was ready along with Atticus who was whining because he wanted some milk but we didn't have any here at the moment. "We'll get you some on the way baby" Atty nodded with a frown on his face as I lifted him off the ground and carried him out of the hotel room with Niall behind us.

We were soon in the car and driving away from the hotel and towards the closest supermarket. We soon arrive and climb out of the car. I unbuckle atty out of the car seat and place him down on the ground beside me. He whined and gripped onto my leg. I smile down at him and ruffle his long hair a little bit. "Mumma" I shut the door and move away from the car. "hold onto mummy's hand" Atty huffed and let go of my leg and took hold of my hand and walked with me into the supermarket. 

"Hold daddy's hand too?" Niall questions Atticus as he stands on the opposite side of Atticus. "Yep" Atticus said before grasping onto Niall's hand, i smile down at my cute little boy before looking back up as we begin to walk around the store collecting a few things for our road trip. After getting everything we needed, we paid and walked back out to the car. Once everything was packed inside and we were buckled in we begun our journey to Santa Cruz.

I let a yawn as Niall pulls into garage of the hotel we are staying at for tonight. We had only decided to stay at a hotel half way through our trip because neither of us wanted to drive back to LA after our night at the boardwalk. "tired baby?" Niall questions me from the drivers seat. I nod my head and rub my face before unbuckling myself. It's about 6pm at the moment and it was still light outside and we weren't going to the board walk until later.

"Mumma" Atticus cries from the back seat "I'll be there in a second baby" Atticus nodded and continued to cry. I climb out of the car and walk around to the other side of the car. I pull open the back door and reach in to unbuckle Atticus. "Shh baby" I say softly to Atticus as I lift him out of the car seat and hold him against my chest as i step away from the car and close the door behind myself.

"Why are you crying baby?" I question Atticus as i help Niall grab some things out of the car. "Me tired" I sigh and carry him into the hotel behind Niall. After collecting our room key we head into the elevator and up to our hotel room on the third floor. I unlock the door and walk in and once Niall was inside I close the door behind him and lock it. I place Atticus down on the ground and walk further into the hotel room. It was pretty simple with it's one bed and bathroom but it was all we needed for one night. I place our things down on the bed and slip my shoes off.

"Atty want some milk?" Niall questions Atticus who was laying on the ground near the window that had the view of the boardwalk and beach. "yes pwease" Atty said as he turned his head to look at Niall. "Good boy" I praise him for saying please, Atty looked at me and giggled before turning back to the window. I kick my shoes off and lay down on the bed and sigh. I was exhausted from the 5 hour drive to Santa Cruz and I felt like a little nap, so that's exactly what I did.

* Niall's POV *

I look at my phone to see it was 7:30 in the evening and we were going to be leaving the hotel around 8pm. I stand up from the couch where I was sitting while watching some TV show that Atticus had wanted to watch before walking over to the bed where my beautiful girlfriend was laying asleep. I lightly kiss her on the head before shaking her awake gently. "huh?" Charlie questions as she slowly wakes up.

"We're leaving soon baby, go get ready" She nodded and tiredly got out of the bed and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind herself. "Atty can you come here please" I hear the young child huff before he slipped off the couch and waddled over to me. "yes?" He questions as he looks up at me. "Gotta get you dressed little dude" He pouted up at me because I knew he wanted to just stay in his pull up and long sleeved shirt. "no sulking" I say before lifting him off the ground and lay him down on the bed.

After taking off his pull up and shirt i get him dressed in black ripped denim shorts, a grey long sleeve t-shirt that slipped off his shoulders a little and white vans. Once he was dressed I combed through his hair before letting him go back to watching the TV so I could get myself ready.
