Niall's secret child

I cradle my baby girl to my chest as she slept peacefully with her pacifier securely in her mouth. I had fed her not to long ago which had put her to sleep. I look up as the door was pushed open and in walked Niall with a nurse following right behind him. Today Toby and I were going to be discharged, she's only 1 day old and is just so precious. From what I've experienced so far she's going to be a quiet baby.

"Hey baby" I smile up at Niall as he walks over to me and gives me a quick kiss before dipping his head down and placed a delicate kiss on our daughter's head. "how're you feeling Charlie?" The nurse questioned me "Feeling good" I say as I give her a smile, she smiled before walking over to us. "Could I have a look at her to check if everything is okay?" I nod and let her take the baby from my arms. I watch as she carried Toby across the room and started doing a little check up. 

A few moments later she brought the baby back over and Niall took hold of her sleeping body. I smile at the two before getting off the bed and did a little stretch once I was standing. I feel so exhausted but energetic at the same time, no idea as to why. I had changed from the hospital gown last night because it was uncomfortable so now I was wearing a pair of black sweatpants and a grey hoodie along with some socks because my feet have been freezing.

"You two are fine to go home now" I smile and thank the nurse who handed me a little packet which included some paperwork. I smile and thank her before bending down to pick up my converses before taking a seat on the edge of the bed before I slipped my shoes on and quickly tied them. "Ready?" Niall questions me softly as he cradles Toby. I nod my head before standing back up. "yeah let's go home" Niall gives me a small smile before pecking my cheek. I smile up at him before grabbing my backpack that was on the end of the bed before walking out of the hospital room with Niall and our baby girl right behind me.

After going down three floors in the elevator we finally arrive at the main lobby where we exit the building and into the cool London air. I let out a shiver and shake my arms a little bit. "Did you wanna hold onto her while i get the car?" Niall questions, I nod and stop walking, Niall stopped as well before passing me the sleeping baby that was waddled up in the light pink blanket, she also had a little beanie on which was adorable. "I'll be right back" I nod and give Niall a sweet little kiss before he jogged off to get the car.

I look back down at Toby and smile as I look over her little face, she looks so content sleeping, she had no worries and I hope she stays like this for years to come. I don't want her to have to worry about anything for a very long time. I hear a car so I look up to see Niall had pulled up at the curb. I watch as he jumped out of the car and rushed over to me. I give him a smile before walking the small distance to the car. Niall pulls the backdoor open and I walk a little closer before lifting Toby up and into the newborn car seat that was rear facing.

I made sure she was laying properly before buckling her in carefully, once i was sure she was I step back and Niall carefully closed the door. I let out a sigh and wrap my arms around him before placing my head on his chest. Niall didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around me as well and kissed the top of my head. We stood there for a few moments before we let go at the same time. "Let's get her home" I smile and nod my head, Niall ducked down a little bit and placed a short sweet kiss upon my lips. I smile at him once he moved away. "C'mon in the car" I chuckle and climb into the car and buckle myself in as Niall walks around to the other side of the car and also climbed in.

"Did you want to stop for food?" Niall questions as he begins driving away from the hospital, I think for a moment before shaking my head. "I'm not that hungry, but if you want food we can stop" I tell Niall who nodded. "I'll just order pizza once we're home" I nod and turn my head so I was looking out the window. The drive home seemed to take longer for some reason, I think it might have just been because I was excited to finally bring my baby home, but after what felt like two hours Niall pulled into our driveway and parked the car out the front of the garage.

I unbuckle my seat belt before climbing out of the car. Niall did the same and met me around on my side. I pull open the back door to see Toby was awake and was just laying there peacefully. I smile and reach in to unbuckle her. She made some random noises when she realized who I was. "Hi baby, did you have a good sleep?" I coo as I lift her small body out of the car seat and cradled her against my chest. I of course didn't get a response but I was okay with it.

Niall reached into the car and grabbed the backpack before shutting the door. "Atty should be inside with your brother" I nod my head and make my way over to the front door where I tried to open the door but it was locked so Niall pulled out his key before opening the door. Niall steps aside and lets me in before him. I slip my shoes off at the door before walking into the living room because I could hear the TV playing some show.

I couldn't see anybody in the living room from where I was standing so I walk closer to the bed and that's when I noticed Jason laying on the couch with Atticus laying down on his chest, both fast asleep. I smile down at them before turning to see Niall was looking over to me with a blanket in his hands, once he reached us he laid the blanket over the two sleeping boys before we both decided to walk into the kitchen so we didn't disturb them.

I take a seat at the counter and adjust Toby so she was bridal style in my arms before adjusting myself a little bit so I could feed her. Toby immediately began suckling on my breast hungrily. "Did you want any pizza?" Niall questions, I nod and tell Niall my order, and I also told him what pizza Jason liked before he picked up his phone and called the pizza place. I look down at Toby to see she had stopped feeding so I cover myself before lifting her up and burped her.

"Mumma?" I hear Atticus call from downstairs, Jason had left about an hour ago and told us that Atticus hadn't slept well last night so I hadn't woken him up. I cover Toby with the blanket before walking out of the nursery and downstairs. I walk into the kitchen to see Atticus was sitting on the couch with tears streaming down his face. "Hey baby what's wrong?" I question him as I walk around to the other side of the couch and scoop him up.

Atticus didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around my neck before burying his face into my chest, but he had stopped crying so I guess that was good. "Mummy's here" I whisper as I sway slightly to sooth him. "You want some milk?" Atty nods his head so I carry him into the kitchen and over to the fridge, I pull the door open and grabbed out one of his bottles that was filled with formula milk before shutting the fridge door.

"Do you want to come cuddle with mummy in bed?" Atticus nods so I pass him the bottle and he immediately began drinking from it, I place a kiss on the side of his head before carrying him upstairs to my bedroom. Niall wasn't here so it was just the kids and I here for a little while. I walk over to the bed and place Atticus down on it making him whine but I shush him before walking over to the TV and turn it on.

Netflix immediately popped up so I grab the remote and put it on some kids movie before walking back over to the bed and climbed in beside my little boy who immediately cuddled into my side as i pull the duvet over the two of us. The opening credits played on the screen and we soon got into the movie.
