"Hey Charlie" Zach said with a smile on his face as I opened the front door. "Hey Zach, sorry I'm running a little late"  I say because he was probably confused as to why I wasn't dressed properly yet. "It's okay" Zach said and I smiled at him. "come in" I step aside and let Zach walk inside before I shut the door behind him. Zach is the guy from Starbucks that gave me his number two weeks ago and we have been talking quite a lot but the only problem is that Atticus does not like him for some unknown reason.

"Make yourself at home, I just have to finish getting myself and Atticus ready" Zach nodded and headed into the living room and once he took a seat on the couch I rushed upstairs into my bedroom where Atticus was laying on my bed where I had left him in just a pair of underwear. "Come on baby, let's get you dressed" I say to the boy who rolled onto his back and shook his head at me. "What was that little man?" I ask with a smirk as I advance closer to him which resulted in him shrieking.

I climb onto the bed and quickly attack my baby with tickles. Atticus began giggling uncontrollably which made me laugh at how cute the giggles were. "Okay mummy's finished" I say as I move my hand away to let the boy get his breath back but he had the occasional giggle as he looked at me. I get off the bed and begin getting him dressed in the clothes that I had put to the side which were grey sweatpants, black t-shirt with dinosaurs all over it before I sat him up and slipped some socks on his small feet followed by his green dinosaur wellies because it has been raining all day so I wasn't going to put expensive shoes on Atticus who is known to jump into puddles.

Once they were on I put his jacket on him and put the hood up before letting him resume playing while I quickly got myself ready before collecting all my things and put them into Atticus' backpack which I proceeded to put on my back before picking the boy up from the bed and carried him downstairs. I didn't have to worry about the puppy which we have named Buddy because he was locked up in the laundry with a clean bed with food and water.

"Hi Atticus" Zach greeted the little boy as I walked into the living room. "No!" Atticus suddenly screams as he looks over at Zach sitting on the couch. "Atticus" I scold the boy who had yelled straight into my ear. "Sowwy mumma" Atty said softly as he wrapped his arms tightly around my neck. "My mumma not yours" Atticus said as he glared at Zach. I sigh and bounce Atticus up a little because he was slipping off my hip.

"Be nice Atticus" I warn Atticus who huffed before stuffing his face into my neck. "Sorry about him Zach" I apologize "It's okay Charlie" Zach assured me as he got off the couch and walked over to me. "Ready to go?" I nod my head and follow him out of the house where I proceed to lock the door before following Zach over to his car where he opened the back door. Zach has a young nephew so he already has a car seat strapped into the back.

I give him a smile before placing Atticus into the car seat and despite his protests I buckle him in before shutting the door. I thank Zach who held the passenger door open for me before climbing in, once i was seated he shut the door before rushing around to the other side. I smile and buckle myself in before turning a little to look at Atticus and found him sitting there with a pout on his little face and his arms crossed.

I reach back and put my hand on his thigh to try and settle him and it worked a little because Atticus grabbed hold of my hand and began playing with my fingers. I smile and turn back to the front to see Zach was watching me with a smile on his face. "All good" I nod my head so he nodded and started the car before driving to our destination which I was quite unsure of. "Where are we going?" I ask Zach as he drives down the road "Can't tell you that love, sorry" Zach said as he gave me a cheeky smile. "oh please?" I ask as I try and give him a cute look, he glanced at me before chuckling and shaking his head.

"cute, i'm still not telling you" I huff before looking out the window, not bothering to find out where we are going because it was not going to work at all. About twenty minuets later we arrive at a movie theater. "We're watching a movie?" I question and Zach nodded his head "Yeah, I found one that we could take Atticus to" I smile and climb out of the car before opening the back door where I unbuckle Atticus before lifting him out, I place him down on the ground but kept hold of his hand and followed Zach over to the entrance and of course Atty found a puddle in the car park and jumped in it, splashing water every where.

"Atticus" I sigh as i look down at him and all he did was smile up at me innocently. "no more jumping in puddles okay babe?" Atticus nodded his head and held onto my hand tighter as we followed behind Zach. We soon enter the theater and we buy some drinks, popcorn and some snacks before we walked into the room where the movie Zootopia was screening.

There were a few people in here with young children so it was a little loud because of the children playing down the front. "Is here alright?" Zach asked as he reached the middle of the seating area. I nod my head so we walked through the empty row until we were in the middle. I sit down on the chair next to Zach and helped Atticus onto the chair on the other side of me.

"Want some popcorn baby?" I ask Atticus once he was comfortable in his chair, he nodded so I grabbed the small box of popcorn that we had bought and place it between Atty's thighs. "Don't drop it baby" Atticus nodded his head and grabbed a piece of popcorn and placed it in his mouth. I smile before turning to Zach who passed me one of the two drinks we bought and I take a sip before putting the straw in front of Atticus' lips because he had asked to have some, I let him drink some before putting the cup in the cup holder between Atticus and myself.

Soon enough the movie started and Atticus was instantly interested because there were animals in the movie, throughout the movie Zach and I quietly spoke and before we knew it the movie was over. I look over at Atticus to see he was almost asleep. I lift him off the chair and into my arms before walking out of the theater with Zach behind me.

When we walked outside it was still raining but this time it was heavier. "I'll go get the car, you stay here" I nod and watch as Zach pulled his keys out before running out into the rain, a few minuets later he parked the car in front of the theater so I would be able to get in without getting wet. I open the back door and place Atticus in and buckle him in before climbing into the passenger seat.

"Thank you" I say to Zach as he begins to drive off while I buckle myself in. "It's alright, i don't want you or Atticus to get sick" I give him a smile before looking out the window as he drives Atticus and myself home because it was about 5pm. We soon arrive back at the house and the rain had settled down, I climb out of the passenger seat and get Atticus out of the car before thanking Zach for the day before proceeding to walk into the house, with one last wave to Zach who drove off.
