Niall's secret child

"Atticus finish cleaning it up" I tell the young boy who tried to talk away from the mess his puppy had made. "but mumma" Atticus whined as he looked up at me. "No Atty, clean it up" I tell him, he huffed before stomping off to the bathroom to collect more toilet paper, he came back a moment later with a bunch and finished cleaning the mess before going back to the bathroom to dispose of it.

Atticus came back a moment later wiping his hands on his shirt "did you wash them?" Atticus nodded his hands "With soap?" I question and he nodded again before walking over to the puppy that was asleep on the floor. My phone lights up on the coffee table so I reach over and grab it to see it was a message from Niall. I unlock my phone and look at the message. I hope you don't mind but I talked about you in an interview today.

 I send him back a message saying it was alright before getting off the couch and walk upstairs to my bedroom where I grab my laptop before walking back downstairs to see Atticus was still in the same position before which meant he was laying on the floor beside the puppy. I sit back down on the couch and turn my laptop on before going onto YouTube where I searched for the interview.

When I finally found the interview, well I think it was the right interview I clicked on it. The interview started like all the others and I was starting to think it wasn't the right interview and was about to click out of it but stop when I heard a question directed to Niall. "So Niall, you've just come out and told the world that you have a son" I watch as Niall nodded his head "Yeah, his name is Atticus" Niall said with a small smile on his face. I look over at Atticus to see if he had heard his dad but he hadn't so I turn back to the laptop.

"Are you in a relationship with his mother?" Harry put his hand on Niall's back and patted it with a chuckle. "No, I'm not" Niall speaks "Was there ever something between you two?" The interviewer asked with a raised eyebrow. Niall chuckled before nodding "We dated for about two years, we broke up just before our son was born"

I sigh as the memories began invading my mind, Niall and I met when we were 18 and shortly after we started dating up until about a month before Atticus was born because it was becoming too much, especially with Niall's career getting bigger, it was a mutual decision to break up and shortly after Atticus was born I moved to Australia for a different scenery and being further away from Niall meant we could keep Atticus a secret. Was i in-love with Niall? the answer to that is a yes, I was deeply in love with Niall James Horan and honestly I think I still am.

The interview soon ended and I put my laptop aside before looking down at the floor where Atticus was laying with the puppy and he was sound asleep with a thumb in his mouth. I aww and snap a quick photo before posting it onto my private Instagram account. I put my phone aside before getting off the couch and walk over to Atticus, as I got closer the puppy put his head up and looked at me. I bent down and pat the puppy before carefully lifting Atticus off the floor and into my arms.

Once I knew he wasn't going to fall or wake up I stand back up and carry the sleeping boy upstairs to hi bedroom with the puppy right behind me, the puppy was already protective of Atticus even though we have only had him for a day and it was really cute. I walk into the bedroom and over to the crib where i lay Atticus down and cover him with the blankets before kissing the top of his head.

I walk over to the window where I pull the blinds shut so the sun was no longer coming into the room before looking down at the floor to see the puppy had settled down on the floor next to the crib and was already asleep so I walk out of the bedroom, keeping the door open a little bit before walking over to the stairs where I walk out and shut the gate before walking down and resume my spot on the couch and resume watching YouTube because it's pretty addicting.
