Chapter Thirteen

Music thuds loudly in the space of Cato's house. There's about 150 people here, we couldn't have it at his dorm at HGBS. The dorms are big, but not that big. I walk in alone trying to find someone I know. I didn't go with Clove, she helped set up alone with Cato. I mean hey, just because I don't have a chance with Peeta, doesn't mean she shouldn't have one with Cato.

"Hey!" A familiar voice yells to get my attention. I look around to see who it is. "Brainless! I'm over here" It's Johanna. I start walking in her direction. "Everyone's hanging out in the guest room. Come join us." She says and leads me to the rest of our friends.

I come and see them all sitting in a circle with a bottle in the middle. Great, I know what this is.

"Katniss! You made it. We're just starting to play Truth Odair" Finnick smirks at his pun but everyone else rolls their eyes.

The game now starts.

Finch is the first to spin it and it lands Marvel. "Truth or Dare?" She grins.

"Dare." He shoots a grin back.

"Kiss the hottest guy here for 30 seconds."

Marvel turns red. "Well since I'm the hottest guy here..." He says and then kisses his hand. Everyone boo's and some laugh.

He spins the bottle and it lands on Cato. He obviously chooses dare.

"Okay well i'm not going to a hellish awkward situation like Foxface did to me..." He says making Finch laugh. "...soo...um.. I should've thought of stuff in advance."

"Chose something already" Clove complains pretending to throw the bottle at him.

A huge grin goes across Marvels face, he looks at Clove, then Cato and says "Kiss your crush."

Cato's smile turns into a frown. I can tell he doesn't want whoever he likes... clove.... to find out that he likes them. He goes over to Clove and kisses her, and of course she does back.

"I KNEW IT!!!" I say as I playfully hit Cato. Everyone laughs.

Cato spins the bottle and it lands on Glimmer. "Truth." She says making everyone disappointed.

"How many guys have you ever slept with?"

Glimmer says nothing but walks away.

"Well haha.. Okay. I'm assuming it's a lot then." He laughs.

"Cato that was rude! You never ask a girl that!" Annie scolds.

"How many guys have you slept with Annie?" He smirks which causes Annie to roll her eyes and cross her arms.

"Well I know she at least slept with one, Gale." Marvel says to Cato laughing.

"Okay guys, really. Shut up." Finnick says. This is probably making him really uncomfortable.

Where is Gale anyway? He didn't show up to another thing. Wow.

We all ended up going to Cato's pool, truth or dare got boring after a few more rounds. All of the group was drunk besides Annie and I. We both didn't like to drink and were the designated drivers.

It's kinda funny watching them all act either crazy or moody, unless they come to me, then I don't want to deal with them.

But I did have to deal with it. Clove stumbles by me laughing at every word that came out of someone's mouth. She could barely walk.

"Come on Clove, let's go." I say trying to help her walk.

"No! I don't want to." She crosses her arms, and almost tumbles over. "We got a party pooper over here everyone!!" She continues to laugh pointing at me.

Are you kidding me? This is gonna be harder than I thought. "At least lay in here until you're semi-better." I say dragging her into one of the bedrooms, but it was already occupied...by Gale and Delly.
