Chapter Nineteen

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I had writers block but I've finished a few chapters!

Finch's POV

"You don't even like him Glimmer." I roll my eyes. She knew how I liked him, so I don't know why she is flirting with him. "So why are you going for him?"

"Isn't it obvious Finch?" Glimmer does a devilish smile to me because she called me by my first name. I hate when people call me Finch.

"If it was obvious I wouldn't be asking you Glimmer." I spit back at her.

"He's easy to get, somewhat attractive, and I need a date to the dance. I would go for Cato, since he is hotter and better in general, but I think that he's too into Clove that it'd be harder to get him. But Marvel... he isn't interested in anyone, I think, I just know he isn't into you."

That's it. I go to smack her but she grabs my wrist. "Honey, you don't want to do that do you? You out of everyone should know that I can pull the innocent bullshit." She's right. No one's going to believe me.

She continues, "I actually like you, don't get on my bad side Finch. You can go for Thresh if you want." Her smile makes me want to punch her even more. I walk away to avoid anymore trouble. Glimmer could ruin me if she wanted too.

Katniss POV

Clove and I are growing impatient. When will Peeta tell us? Maybe he didn't see anything? Or just didn't tell us?

A knock on the door makes me and Clove bolt to the door. We open to find not Peeta, but Annie shaking in tears. I think she figured out.

Clove and I let her in and she spills, " He's been using me, cheating on me! Why? Am I that bad? I knew I wasn't pretty but am I that unattractive. I knew Delly was better than me. Everyone is." She starts crying harder which makes me get the tissues.

"Ann, listen. Gale is a douche. You deserve so much better than him. You're perfect. You're beautiful, smart, kind, and such a sweetheart. Delly is nothing like you, and that's good because you don't want to be like her. She is a bitch. Annie, you're amazing, you didn't deserve this." Cloves good with words.

"Yeah, what she said." I say which makes them laugh a little. Clove basically stole all what I was hoping to say.

"How'd you find out?"Clove asks, she shouldn't have. We should avoid the topic.

"..Um.. Peeta told me.." Annie sniffles.

"Annie I'm so sorry." I say which makes her cry even more. Poor girl, I kinda feel bad for making the plan but it's better for her to know.

"It's fine... It wasn't your fault." She takes a pause and then says, "Where's Finnick?" It somewhat surprises me, I thought she would still be awkward around him. I guess they really do get over everything.

Clove tells her and she says her goodbye. I'm glad the two found out about Delly and Gale.
