Chapter Fourteen

**Glad you guys liked the Gale and Delly twist.. I've been playing it for awhile, remember when Gale never showed up to the date and Delly canceled plans with Peeta last minute?? Not a coincidence(;

They both turn their heads and stare at me at the same time. "Katniss, wai-" Delly tries to talk to me before I close the door and take Clove to another room. What am I going to tell Annie? Or Peeta?

I know this is awful, but at least Peeta will be single now. I mean Hey! He doesn't deserve a cheating scum like her.

I walk down Cato's staircase trying to find one of the two. Preferably Annie, since she's sober. Instead I find Cato, who's looking for Clove. I just point to the room she's in and he gives me a friendly nod and pulls me into a long awkward hug. What the fuck.

I finally find Annie, by the pool. "Ann-" I say but she interrupts me. "I need to talk to you now." She says grabbing my hand and dragging me somewhere. Does she already know?

"I need to tell you something but I swear if you tell anyone." She says sternly. "Go for it." is all I say.

"Okay... well.. Finnick repeatedly keeps telling me that he is in love with me."

Oh no Finnick. What have you done. She reads my facial expression and just agrees by saying "Yeah."

"I don't know if he's serious or.." I know he is. "But I know that I like him." She finishes.

 "Oh" I don't know what else to say. I'm just a little shocked...She likes him back?

"He's drunk. He didn't mean it, he was just lonely or something, but I shouldn't bring it up right? It'd just make things...awkward." She asks.

I nod. I'm not gonna tell Annie that Finnick likes her. He should do it himself. Plus I have more shit to deal with. I shouldn't tell her tonight..

"What about Gale?" I ask.

"I like him.. I also like Finnick. I did ever since I was in the 7th grade." She shrugs.

The party ended soon after Annie and I's secret conversation. We took everyone back to the dorms being as quiet as possible. How did Annie do this by herself before?

Clove throws herself on her bed and falls asleep quickly.But I can't. I toss and turn thinking about how I'm going to even tell Peeta and Annie.

A shrilling of a phone wakes me up. "Oh my god Katniss. Would you turn it off or answer it already? My head is pounding!" Clove complains shoving her face in her pillow.

"Clove it's your phone." I tell her.

"So, could you just.. just turn it off?" She says.

I go and turn it off. "It was a call from Cato." I inform her.

"Why is he calling so early?" She asks.

"It's 12:30."

"Exactly."

I get a text, luckily my phone is on silent or Clove would knife me. It's from Peeta. Wanna hangout? I read, I obviously do so I tell him I'll come over soon. But wait- I have to tell him about Delly. Shit.
