I get there and it's Peeta is the only one who greets me at the door, Finnick must be somewhere else. I walk in and sit on his floor. We just talk about life in general and order a pizza. "So how was your night?" He asks.
"Well um Peeta I need to-" I get cut off by my phone ringing. "Wait just a second I'm sorry." I say answering the phone and stood up.
"Hey Annie." I say. I have no idea what she's calling.
"Katniss! Oh my god you won't believe what was going on last night after you left."
"What?!"
"I got no sleep, you know why. Because Finnick was blowing my phone up with these like love messages. I thought that was bad but then he started calling me, all night. He finally stopped at 7. He didn't go to bed like everyone else. So basically I got four hours of sleep."
"..Oh my god. What'd you say?" I ask.
"I just kept telling him he was drunk over and over again."
"..Oh Finnick.." Is all I can say.
"Yeah. I know.. You wanna hang out later today?"
"I can't right now, but maybe we can go see a movie tonight?
"Alright see you later Katniss! Later." She hangs up after I say bye.
"What was that about?" Peeta asks.
"Oh... hah.. nothing." I awkwardly try to shake off the question.
He just raises an eyebrow, but I promised Annie I wouldn't tell anyone. "Nothing" I repeat myself. Peeta just shrugs it off and goes back to what we were talking about, "What were you saying before all that happened?" He asks.
"Well Peeta you're not going to like this.. but..." I start to say.
"But what?"
"I saw Delly with Gale last night." I confess.
"You're lying." He glares. Oh no, I didn't want to make him mad.
"But i'm not! Peeta list-" I start to say but I get cut off.
"No Katniss. You're worse than Madge. She always tries ruining my relationships, especially mine and Delly's, but this is coming from someone who I thought was my friend!"
The room is filled with an awkward silence before Finnick burst through the door laughing with Johanna.
"Leave." Peeta demands pointing to the door. Finnick and Johanna stop laughing and awkwardly go to Finnick's side of the dorm.
I walk out the door and slam it on my way out.
