Lisa's POV
Only Christina is really on my side now, everyone else slowly drifted away.
She's due any day now which makes me nervous. That morning I woke up in pain and I instantly knew what was going on. I just stayed in bed knowing this would be hours.
"Hey Lisa, how's it going?" Christina walks in
"Labours starting" I say
"Are you okay??" She asks
"Yeah I'm good, you know it will take forever, remember mom?" I laughed
"And as a kid time passed even slower, sitting there as grandma starts falling asleep so we'd get potato chips from the kitchen secretly" she said, those were the days.
*hours later*
I don't think I've ever really felt pain before, because heck that hurt more than anything.
"There's your beautiful baby girl" the nurse handed me my baby, Christina was at my side like she had been the whole time.
"Hello, I'm your Aunty" I smiled at her, this wasn't how I planned my life, I wanted to be a few years older, with a husband. Not that I don't appreciate my sister at my side I really do.
"She's beautiful" a tear of joy slipped down my cheek, she's perfect.
