let us dream
Amongst the shadows of summer,
the young ones rejoice
as stardust falls from the skies
blessing innocent dreams
of fairies and princes,
of magic and dragons.
As a shooting star shatters the night sky
carrying the bright illumination
of all its wishes,
let us dream once again
of a time like theirs
with floating castles in the clouds
and knights in shining armor.
Let us dream once again
of more.
Let us dream.
