I Am.
I'm that girl you see
standing in the corner of the street
pretending to count the clouds in the sky
but pondering the brokenness of life.I'm that baby out there
crying into the still, frozen air
abandoned on a door way somewhere
with a heart too young to bare.I'm that man on the street
playing music to masquerade my fear
from a reality condemning me to feel
the deceptive touches of an end too real.I'm everywhere
in the busy streets
in the empty homes
in the broken hearts
in the garden's bloomI am human.
I am you.-
